I thought this product would be helpful for my Ellie because I pay $5 dollars to get her ear cleaned every month, now I don't have to! I used this for the first time on Ellie this weekend. It was easy to put in her ears, I just simply followed the directions on the label. The scent is Apple Kiwi, which I was unsure of how it would smell, but it smelled pretty good! Ellie's ears smelled a bit medicated for the rest of the day, but they typically do after getting them cleaned. I recommend this product. It will save me money in the long run. Plus its anti-microbial and anti-fungal and can be used for cats. I'm all about it and would like to try more of Strawfield's products in the future.

Bought ear cleaner for people for my cat, and after 2 applications, no difference. I bought this, and after the first application (and about 2 days later), my cat is no longer shaking her head randomly and going crazy scratching at her ears. I can see that the wax buildup has come closer to the outer part of her ear, which makes it easier for me to clean. It comes with enough for multiple animals and should last a really long time. It does have a smell, though, that both my girlfriend and daughter commented on, but nothing horrible. To me, it smells like flowers.

My dog has always had recurring ear problems so I decided to save money on vet visits and try this dog ear cleaner. I'm not sure if it was an ear infection or a yeast infection but either way he had really smelly ears and there was alot of fluid and discharge and he was shaking his head alot. This ear wash dried up the fluid coming out of his ears, cleared up the smell, and he didn't seem to mind it so it didn't sting. It was good ear wax remover too. Smelled good, like Apple Kiwi which was nice. It says on the bottle to do weekly ear cleaning to prevent ear issues so that's what I'll be doing from now on. It's better than the trouble and expense of taking him to the vet all the time. I'll buy again.

Really helps with fungal ear infections as well as ear mites. This was a good purchase. Doesn't seem to cause pain for the cat, smells kind of like chemicals, obviously, the cat doesn't enjoy having this placed in the ear. It touched a small cut on my hand and didn't burn, which is what impressed me the most. I know it's not adding pain to an already aggravating problem the cat is experiencing.

At first I thought it worked. But now it just leaves a sloshy sound in her ears. It does clean them somewhat, but my poor girls lives in a muffled sewer slosh... :( Using it everyday, then every other and still no improvement. This is my second bottle. Cannot use it with Zorvax as that just causes infections and pain for her. At lease this doesn't cause infection and pain, she just lives in a sewer :( So what is the solution? How do I stop this crap in her ears!? Hundreds spent on vet's with multiple prescriptions.. nothing helps longer than a few days. How can I keep her floppy ears up without hurting her? I welcome "any" suggestions - Please help!

I got my kids a kitten a few weeks ago she is 9 weeks old and when I got her I noticed a whole bunch of dark brown wax and I don't know if it was ear might but close to if sumone dumped a coffee filter with grounds in her ear I tried a product from petco it didn't do anything but hurt her and let me tell you this product right here I ordered it yesterday and used it today I put it in her ear and all the stuff in her ears came out instantly when she shook her head and I wiped it out with out problems and she started licking me after I think her ears feel so much better

This was purchased with the hope that it would help my Cocker Spaniel who has had multiple ear issues all her life. Most recently, one ear smelled as if something had died in it, like a spoiled potato or something equally as gross. For the first few days I was hesitant to use it often enough, but, then realized after using it twice a day for a few days, it actually softened up the wax enough for removal. My grief with most cleaners is they never address wax removal and just putting a water soluble liquid over ear wax absolutely does not work to dissolve it. Therefore, anything under the wax never gets better. At this point the smell has gotten a lot better, and I believe her ear canal is not so inflamed. Both a huge plus. I believe it is worth a try.

My neighbor has a 12 year old cocka-poo I trim and bathe for her. One of the hardest parts of Muffin to clean are her ears. I tried using bath soap with a wash cloth, but it did not break up the greasy wax enough and was difficult to get in the crevices in her ears. I sprayed this into her ears and it helped breakdown the wax so that I only had to wipe gently with a cloth to remove the wax and dirt build up. The narrow rounded tip helps get into the crevices and gently squeezing the bottle helps give me the amount needed to clean. There is a slight clean smell but not overpowering and seems gentle enough as there was no redness in Muffns ears afterwards!
