ZCORR Vacuum bags are now even stronger due to an added reinforcing layer which further reduces the threat of tears or punctures. The ZCORR Vacuum Shotgun/Rifle Bag was designed to protect rifles and shotguns that may have large clips or optics installed on them from corrosion and general contamination. Depending on a firearm’s overall height, optics may remain mounted and are unaffected by VCI molecules. As always, optics should be stored with caps on. The vacuum valve and 100% water proof and airtight zipper closure allow this bag to maintain its enhanced preservation qualities for extended periods of time in multitudes of environments. Vacuum Series firearm storage bags are ideal for firearms that are subjected to changing climates, harsh climates, or for those who want the industry’s most Fail-Safe protection. Depending on use, firearms can be stored rust free for 5+ years. To use a Vacuum Series firearm bag effectively: 1. Clean your firearm as recommended by the manufacturer and slide it into the bag. 2. Press the heavy duty zipper closure shut. 3. Place any house hold vacuum hose over the one way valve and remove air. To remove the firearm simply: 1. Open the zipper closure and remove your firearm. 2. VCI technology leaves be hind no residues so firearms are ready to be used right out of the bag… unlike messy oils & greases. We advise against placing firearms inside gun socks before placing them in ZCORR Collector Series Storage Bags as they may inhibit the effectiveness of the VCI chemistry.

It's okay.
Bags seal up fine but the plastic is thick, which is good, but is stiff and not very pliable. The disadvantage to the stiff plastic is that it is very difficult to insert a bagged rifle into one of those zip up rifle cases. I also bought some the VCI rifle bags that are a translucent color. While these are also thick plastic, they're much more pliable such as what you find with those hefty zip lock freezer bags.

Advertised as 11" wide, NOT. The actual bag is 11" but the mouth/opening is 9". You cannot get anything bigger than a 9" wide weapon and that eliminates most everything that is tactical. A bit disappointed in the versatility but can use it on the above mentioned.

Vacuum sealer doesn't work
Pros: sturdy packaging; seems to have great moisture/corrosion protectionCons: product description only lists outer dimensions - inner dimensions are actually about 2-4" smaller than listed - had to partially disassemble my shotgun to fit it in the bag; vacuum sealer does not work at all. It's a great idea, but i tried vacuum sealing just as they had instructed and it just doesn't work

Very poor design on the gasket as the inside wall of ...
Internal dimention was much dmaller than measurments listed. I had to feild strip and in one case completely disassemble rifles. None of the bags held their vacuum seal. Very poor design on the gasket as the inside wall of the bag blocks suction. Two bags ripped due to flash supressors and sharp edges typical on guns. Cannot speak to corrosion resistance as I just placed my guns in storage but I am very disappointed with this product. Bags were very expensive and should have been made bettet.

Zcorr bags seem to do the job. I'll know better in the spring. Make sure your equipment fits the bag before purchasing,

Great for storing large amounts of dehydrated food stuffs. I put some silica gel pacs inside, just to keep out any unwanted mosture from my dehydrated fruits.
