Although expensive, especially as I bought a lid too, it is very sturdy and a great size. The packaging was awful and the legs were poking out of the side but it was undamaged. It did start to rust straight away so I sprayed it with some heat resistant BBQ spray and now it looks fab.

I ordered this during the start of COVID so it probably took a bit longer to be delivered than normal. That said, in the circumstances I was not unhappy about the duration.It arrived already assembled, the first thing that grabs you is the size. I knew I was ordering a 80cm fire pit and I measured out 80cm on a tape measure to get a feel for how big but when you open the box you know you have a pit that provide a fire for the biggest garden.I have not filled the pit with logs yet, I have only half filled it and the flame and heat it kicks out is impressive.It's well made and very sturdy, I would recommend this. 5/5

Having been on the look out for a firebowl of significant size for not only looking good but also to be practical in burning garden branch detritus i found this one. Being slightly dubious of it shipping from Germany i was pleasantly pleased with how quickly it arrived and how it was packed. upon unboxing the bowl was undamaged and sturdy, not so heavy that it was impossible to move but impressively large - certainly large enough for my needs.Having read the description i was under no misconceptions that the bowl would stay mild steel coloured and that it would rust up fast. to ensure i got an even rusting on the unit i left it outside upside down for a week or two and the bottom of the bowl developed an excellent Corten style rust cover.First lighting and subsequent lighting of the bowl performed well, being able to hold a good size blaze without worry of the contents blowing out of it on windy days.As has been noted elsewhere, the only real downside to this bowl is the lack of drainage or cover. however that said i've just ordered the firebowl lid from the same supplier. this lid will allow me to shut a fire down when i want it rather than letting it smolder.all round - good, and would buy again.

This is a very robust fire pit. We have used it once and it would heat quite a large garden if filled with wood (80 cm wide) - we just had a small central fire. It is heavy, but has two handles, and three welded on feet. NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED. It is not stainless steel, so it will rust, but we left it to cool down completely and then back in the garage. Very happy with it indeed and looking at ways of cooking with it now. It came from Germany, and the seller kept me very well informed as to shipping progress. Took just over a couple of weeks to come, but very much worth the wait.

Brilliant product - very happy with it. Well worth the wait to receive it in the midst of SARS-Cov2 epidemic in Europe all the way from Deutschland! It has a feel of hand-made, solid workmanship; heat resistance is very good, maybe even too good as it will burn any grass underneath (best to place it on a stone surface or a sand / gravel). The large surface area with a bowl shape gives a good feel of control of fire.

Arrived promptly; we really love this. One of the best items we have purchased for the garden. When alight it works really well throwing out the heat; and it looks really elegant too. We have the 80cm; very solid, heavy and made of 3mm steel and so should last years. Gave it a test drive the other night; fantastic.....so, six friends arriving tonight for alfresco food and wine around the fire; cannot praise this enough...cheers!

After talking to my friends, they put me off buying a fire pit but its so beautiful as a piece of garden furniture, I'll keep it and give it a go. Really good size and well made, Will need some protection to avoid rust but very nice item. Thanks

This feels nice and sturdy, simple construction but very stylish too. The handles have proved very useful as I have installed a couple of large hooks in my garage wall to hand the bowl from. This way it's indoors when not in use but mostly out of the way. Also, it's like a giant Tibetan singing bowl, one tap on the side and it resonates for ages!

Man sollte es mit einem Antirostspray einsprühen, bevor das erste Feuer prasselt. Tolles Produkt. Wir haben noch einen Funkenschutz dazu gekauft und jetzt ist noch stimmungsvoller.
