It is worth the $15 I paid for it but not much more. The decorations were laying the bag - hadn't even survived the shipping (which it was packaged fine just poor quality glue apparently) Which is fine with me because the 'ribbon and bow' are actually paper so rather than re-attach the paper I will probably swap it out for actual ribbon. In order to turn the lights on you have to stick you hand up into the hat because the battery box is mounted to the very top....not a big deal except it is called a "tree topper" which means it is on the very top of the tree and thus you would have to climb up to the top of the tree to turn it on and off. It should either have a remote to turn it on/off or it should plug into a regular string of lights. One nice feature is it collapses for easy storage - there is a spring inside so you can just 'squish' it down.

I was searching for something that was going to look festive on my Christmas tree and also give it a little bit of character and I saw this on Amazon. I saw all the great reviews and decided to pull the trigger. I was pleased with the overall quality of the topper, it has decent weight and was actually a little bigger than I anticipated. There are some small lights that you can turn on with a switch and requires 2 aa batteries which I think will look fantastic at night. Can't wait for Christmas!

The hat is really cool and unique. I bought it because the top of the tree wasn't straight but you can tell that with a hat on. You have to pull the battery out and let it dangle in order turn it on and off

The good:The product looks nice and fits well on the tree. I was happy to find a unique tree topper.The bad: Some of the decorations had come off, and I had to re-glue them. The lights inside aren't very bright. I had expected a higher quality product for the $.

Was a last minute tree decoration, but one that brings a certain smile. Every tree needs a good top hat. Very well made should last for years.

I like it enough to keep it. I had get my hot glue gun out when the package arrived and glue all the decorations back on the hat. The hat is a little crooked. Quality is poor but I will use it until it falls apart.
