My wife got these batteries for our Dewalt 18-volt system. The tools work great, but the batteries do not get a lot of use and have failed. Honestly, they are pretty old I would guess 10 years. The replacements work great, and the old tools have their life restored. The drills turn with much more force and the vacuum which we use the most, has a much stronger flow and last 8 times longer. This is probably what they did when new, just as things got old, they slowly lacked in power output. Some batteries are down to not even taking a charge. These new ones are great and seem to be everything if not more than the original batteries. Since they do such a great job, we are going to order more for us and our son, who is in the same situation.

Purchased these in February 2024 as a cheaper alternative to 18V Dewalt batteries. I have been really impressed with how well they have worked. Have been using them now for 18 months. I like the charge remaining indicator, they seem to be a lot lighter, and they hold a charge even when not using. I felt this product had such value, I purchased again in June 2025. Hopefully they continue to work well and don't ruin any of my tools.

Yes, I thoroughly did my research, having read all the troubles others have gone through. This is NOT a dewalt brand, therefore, you are not paying the dewalt price. If you want the OEM product, dont get this. And, even though the charger LOOKS like a dewalt charger, you will not find the Dewalt name anywhere on it. The ID model number matches exactly, but that is not considered copyright infringement. Please read up on the 3 major types of batteries also and KNOW what you're getting. Make sure the charger you have, or will be getting is compatible with the type of battery.... the charger should say on the bottom label what batteries it is safe to charge. The " newer" style chargers generally can charge the 3 styles. Ni- cad ( nickel- cadmium), Ni-MH ( nickel- metal hydride) or Li-ion (lithium- ion).... it all has to do with the circuitry/ electronics within the charger...... there are all sorts of horror stories out there about people being frustrated with the battery not living up to their expectations. My guess is that 90% of the time it's not the battery being a lemon; it's the incompatibility between the charger and the TYPE of battery. Now, I will admit also, that when these factories in China are cranking out 1000's of batteries, a few duds are bound to slip through.... that's just a quality control issue. Again, make sure the charger is properly designed and meant to charge the different types.

The batteries hold a good charge, lasts a long time. Lightweight, seem slow to charge, though. Being so lightweight they are worth their weight in gold.

Not for those of us that do a lot of construction work! When using in a saw it frequently stops same with a hammer drill. We are guessing over heating? It first we thought it was a bad connection in the tools. Sometimes very difficult to remove from our Dewalt tools. Good enough to power a flashlight not much else. Sadley we are outside the return window. It took a while for my guys to let me know.

The best batteries I have ever had. Love the way you can check how much power remains. I would definitely purchase them again.

Plugged right into my dewalt charger and charged up fully. Plugged into my drill and works great.
