Remember that dance shoes are sized differently than regular shoes. Pay attention to the sizing recommendations and these will fit great! My daughter loves wearing them to dance class, and Capezio is a trusted and respected brand. High quality tap shoes!

Overall this is a great tap shoe that is comfortable for my daughter. I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a wide, half-size bigger- they fit perfectly. The only thing I wish was differently designed is the strap- when pulled all the way closed, the stiffness makes it feel tight and adjusting it so it’s looser brings the buckle closer to the center of the shoe which isn’t a huge deal but something to keep in mind. Otherwise, it’s very pretty shoe and worth spending a bit more for the quality.

All of the tap shoes that my child has tried on are super narrow so I was happy to find something that came in a wide width. The wide width is basically normal width in my opinion. I need to find something in a extra extra wide. These shoes are super stiff and gave my child blisters on the back of her heel the first day of use, so I had her wear socks when she wore them again and it wasn't a problem. I wish they made tap shoes that weren't so uncomfortable.

Love these tap shoes. We keep buying in multiple sizes. Comfy and easy to get on for younger kids. For true to size.

per reviews I ordered up 1/2 size. I bought size 2 shoes for this school yr & she has room to grow!! So I ordered a 2 1/2 on here. They match her size 1 1/2 shoes perfectly ( sole to sole) IF these fit her ( i’ll See here soon) they won’t fit for long. They run a full size smaller than street shoes Other than the small size, they are just as pictured & look nice. *** follow up**** they actually fit her GREAT!! I think a full size would have been too big. 1/2 size up was perfect. Size 2 street shoes gives a little room to grow, 2 1/2 tap was perfect!! I changed this from 4 stars to 5.our daughter loves them & has been practicing in them daily at home.

They are sturdy and great quality

These shoes are fantastic! So cute and perfect for dance classes and recital. They come as shown and with a little bow you can optionally clip on. They seem much more sturdy than your typical cheap tap shoe and I expect them to last for a while. Based on other reviews saying you need to order a half size up, I decided to order a whole size up to leave growing room. I was a little worried about it but glad I did. Half sized up would be a perfect fit and a whole size insured me these will last through the fall but aren't too big for her now. It's a perfect fit and I also LOVE the velcro closure, the ribbons on regular tap shoes always come undone! My daughter wears a true size 7.5 but the recommended 8 (for growing room) in stride rite shoes. So I ordered the 8.5 and they're great.

Very cute tap shoes and fit as expected with all dance shoes. They were a little difficult to size however we were able to find the correct sizing and they fit secure and snug. They are a bit of a mad black finish, which I like very much.

Absolutely horrible customer service. First they sent me the wrong size shoe and refused to make it right, so I ended up having to reorder. Reordered and after my daughter’s second tap lesson the entire plate fell off the bottom of the shoe. Her dance instructor said that it was clearly a faulty shoe and that because it was so obviously a faulty product there shouldn’t be any issues getting a replacement. Company has refused to replace.
