These are so easy to install and use. They are durable. The picture is very clear day or night. The motion movement of the camera is easy to use. The motion detection picks up everything. It connects easily to WiFi. The app is easy to use. Setup was a breeze. We got it setup in less than 5mins. It’s great that it comes with a. Two pack so we did one in the front and the other in the back. Did not have to worry about hard wiring it or climbing up on a roof or side of the house to install it. I would definitely purchase this again but with its high quality I don’t think I will have to. We love it and highly recommend.

Edit: Got the replacement! It arrived super quickly. One of the two I got had a fault, but Laview went out of their way to contact me, and remind me that their products were covered by warranty. Their customer service is above and beyond to help.I'm honestly very impressed with it so far. I'm very surprised by the quality considering the price. Being able to save everything onto an SD card is so much easier than having to save it onto my phone or risk it getting lost in the cloud. My blink camera saved me from eviction at my last apartment (the landlord was an absolute creep), but I had to waste so much space saving the videos onto my phone. These cameras are so much easier, and versatile. The image quality is the same if not better than my Blink camera, and it has motion tracking. They turn and look at you if you turn it on! It's kinda cute. The set up is easy, and includes little videos to help guide you. It's all very well done, and really helps if you are new to setting one of these up. I definitely recommend these!~~~~I'm really conflicted about these. The one that works is wonderful. I absolutely love it.It's got a lot of options making it very versatile and I'm so happy to find something that doesn't need an additional subscription to work. They're very sensitive to movement which is great. I appreciate that you can set them to only light up when they spot something.The set up was simple, and probably the easiest of the three brands I've used so far.These would have been a five star, hands down, if one of them hadn't died a few months after I got it.I have one in my car port which is sheltered from the elements, and the other on my front porch in a semi-enclosed light fixture.The one on the porch is protected by the fixture and overhang. It was working properly until a rather fierce storm swept through. These claimed to be safe for outdoor use, but this died immediately after the first big storm hit. It was relatively well protected form direct water exposure, so I'm extremely disappointed at how susceptible it is to moisture damage.I'm going to have to find something similar that won't die from a little moisture.EDIT: Completely forgot to check for warranty. Apparently these are protected under a year long warranty. The seller got in contact with me and is working with me to set up a replacement. It sounds like perhaps the one that broke was simply faulty. These are water proof, except the bulb connecting part. I will update again later.

These Laview camera lights seem to be better than some of the more renowned and expensive brands of security cameras I have purchased in the past. The cameras are clear and even move with moving objects when they come into view. Set up was fairly simple but took me maybe 20 minutes to do two of them. You can set up areas to monitor or keep the camera positione fixed. You can sound a pretty weak sounding siren if there is an emergency or even communicate with someone at the door with the two way communication option. I think for the value the camera is definitely worth what you pay for them and more because it has similar features to other more expensive brands.I don't have a lot of negatives to mention about these Laview cameras but as I mentioned before the siren is not very loud on them. Also, I expected the LED light on it to be brighter but it is very dull, not giving off much light at all. You can get an SD card for storage of footage but I decided to purchase a cloud storage option to save my videos for 30 days for 3 cameras. It's not a downside but those are your options for storage.I purchased the Laviews that required 2.4G WiFi, just ensure that you get the cameras that run on your WiFi speed otherwise, I'm not sure if they will work.Overall, I am very happy with the cameras, their features and how they have been performing for the last week for me. I would definitely recommend this as a more affordable option to other camera brands I've owned in the past, with a more reliable recording and storage in the likelyhood of an event occurring. Glad I took the chance to get them and I plan on buying another!

This was my first experience with security cameras in general and I have to say I am pleased with this purchase. Although the website confirms that the camera is compatible with memory cards up to 128GB in storage size in the MicroSD variety, they must be formatted with the FAT32 file system format. As such I purchased a 1TB MicroSD card for the local recording ability (I HATE cloud subscription services). I formatted it to the FAT32 file system format and the camera acknowledged the overall available space of 953GB (post format). I have yet to try any larger MicroSD sizes as the next size up (1.5TB I believe) is prohibitively expensive for me.The motion detection is great even on the highest sensitivity. The resolution is great in full color and night-vision mode. The spot-light, which you can set to trigger with motion detection, is bright enough to record color at night (that is also a specific mode within the control app). And to save space, you can set the camera to Event Recording mode which will only trigger the recording to start when it detects motion.All in all, this is a great option for a first time security camera user. The package comes with many different attachments to enable you to set or mount it almost anywhere, even near your front door with those fancy porch-light covers. 5/5, would recommend.
