Sterling Forever Women?s Zodiac Necklace - ?When Stars Align' Constellation Necklace, Silver Plated (Capricorn (Dec22 - Jan 19))

I did a lot of research before I picked this necklace. I was very excited to get it. I decided to give this necklace to my daughter for her graduation. I wanted to prepare in advance and got this necklace moth before graduation. It looks very beautiful and I was very happy when it has arrived. On the day of graduation, I gave it to my daughter and she loved it. Everybody was complimenting the necklace. But... 10 days later... only 10 days later... the necklace lost all silver color on the back... I understand that sometimes it does happen when you wear your jewelry for a long time... but ONLY 10 DAYS passed! When my daughter did notice that color is gone she was very disappointed, so do I... I love the look of this necklace very much, but now we notice that chain is also changing color. We try to clean it , but color is gone. On the description of this necklace, it says "Sterling Forever provides high-quality jewelry made to last forever. Each purchase comes with a lifetime promise, as we believe your jewels should shine brightly for life!"... well, it stops to shine only after 10 days... Now I have to look for the different necklace.

I agree with the most recent 1 star review. She basically said everything I intended to say, so no need to waste my time. I bought this as gift for someone and less then a month it changes colors. I felt so embarrassed.

This was a birthday gift to my young adult daughter who was a January baby. She was very happy with her unique necklace and says she's received compliments on it.

The pendant itself was lovely but the rings that hold it on to the actual necklace are really cheap and broke on the first time worn.
