I had a harder time getting the moon to levitate than the other levitating light that I bought, but I eventually got it to levitate. I just needed a gentler and persistent touch. You can give it a little push and it’ll spin for a long time too. It doesn’t give off a lot of light, but I don’t like really bright lights at night anyway, so it’s perfect. It’s really cool too.

I bought this a gift for a friend and it was so cool I had to buy another one for my sister! I had told her about it and she tried to get one from Temu, but it didn’t levitate the way this one does. It’s very calming to look at as well!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried for over an hour to make it float, not it won’t light up. I have experience with making levitation devices so I know the mechanism. This is a poorly built product

I attempted to buy this on Etsy initially since it was cheaper and got a “floor model” aka just an empty box. Needless to say this looked much more realistic since I’ve seen the moon in real life. Honestly though, this is really well made. Just be careful and patient trying to balance it on the stand. Practice makes perfect.

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the coolest desktop night lights you'll ever see. The moon floats thanks to a push/pull from both magnets in the base and in the moon itself. Strong magnets in a ring pulling down on the moon while a strong magnet in the middle pushes it away. What's really neat is that the moon doesn't light up until you get it in just the right spot where it is just between being pulled down and pushed away.Setting it up is a little frustrating the first few times, but once you get the hang of finding the balance spot it you immediately realize it was worth the effort as it blinks to life, hovering above the base. If you sit and watch it you'll notice it start to slowly turn, and eventually it will be spinning on its own. You can give it a gentle nudge to help it along, but know that if you do eventually it will get to spinning quite fast.It does have a design challenge in that if you bump the moon, or knock it off its perfect push/pull magnetic levitation act, the strong magnets in the moon and the outer ring that were pulling on each other, will cause the moon to crash into the hollow metal base with a very loud bang. So in that regard, I don't know that it is the best bedside table night light as I suspect it might get knocked off frequently.Overall it is a great light, it looks amazingly cool and stepping into a room where it is setup it immediately catches the eye making it a great conversation starter as well.
