This book is great the explanations and writing inside are short but they get to the point of what you want. The drawings are excellent the show the difference part of the body that it is explaining in a different colour so it is highly effective if you are someone that struggles with focusing on what you need to be paying attention to. The two books are great being split up the way that they are starting with the body legs and arms then moving onto the head.

I own quite a few classic figure drawing instructional books and I feel this one simplifies figure drawing the best. Most of the book is made out of images that break down features into their simplest forms, text is kept to bare minimum. The overall design makes the books feel like real drawing manuals. There are 2 books in that set, divided into 5 parts - Body / Arms / Face / Legs / Illustrations.

I bought the book for myself to use, but the second book wasn't in my order.
