The dash cam came in a black box with everything nicely packed inside. It is kind of small and with no screen so you'll need to install their app before using the dash cam. You still need to put a SD card in the dash cam though, you could use one up to 128g which give you more storage space. It comes with a remote snap shot and download automatically to your phone. The snapshot remote button is very cool.

had the wrong chip in the camera at first, then put in the right chip and it turned out to be a wonderful camera without fail. thanks

UPDATE: After using this camera for a few weeks, I've actually grown a bit fond of it. Initially I was a bit annoyed that I had to connect to the on-board wifi to view footage or change settings, but it's worked surprisingly well on some long drives. DO NOTE: Be sure to read the below if you have a Mac computer... dealing with the .vmhx (?) video files are still a pain if you're trying to edit these mysterious video files. I can't speak for other users, but the video files are recorded as a mysterious .vmhx video file. It can't be played on a Mac computer.I had to work around it by uploading the raw video files straight to YouTube, then once on YouTube, I was finally able to see the footage.Needless to say this is rather frustrating.If I were you, I'd just get a dash cam that has an actual screen in the back and doesn't require you to pair it to your phone (which you have to go through the trouble of downloading an app just to set it up and format your sd card). The little "quick photo" button is neat, and a feature I haven't seen on any other dash cam, but I'm not sure how useful it'd really be since the dash cam is always recording anyway.A shame because had the video files actually recorded to something like .MP4 or .MOV, I would've loved this thing. It even comes with a mounting kit so you can mount this dash cam directly to your rear view mirror (i.e. you don't have to stick anything to your windshield).Hope this helps!

I had high hopes for this product. I like the design but could not find a large number of creditable reviews but still biught it anyway. It worked flawlessly for 2 days. Them day three it crashed. In the app the video started to jerk and pause then next the app showed nothing but a white screen. No video just a paper weight. I even tried a new scan card still same results. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Same result.I cant weight to get this back in the mail and send back to Amazon.I suggest not buying this device.I also suggest Amazon remove this product from their website.

The seller is not repond. I send him because I have issue with camera. No response till now. Don't waste your money in trash produt.
