Exceptionally useful sound card; clean gain; must have audio tool for your bag
This sound card is very useful because it has a 3.5mm mic input that can also be TRRS, and an optical/line input, and a zero-latency DSP mixer that allows you to monitor the optical input, which is excellent for routing audio sources like Discord chat or Zoom to your headphones without being recording in OBS. The software could be less complicated, but it has some cool features like audio EQ for the output so I can cut the bass or tweak my speakers, and it has a super cool voice morph. I own one G3, one Play! 3, and one Play! 4 and some other cheap USB sound cards so I can add more 3.5mm inputs into OBS and use my Movo VXR10 video mic, which I love and recommend to everyone, but you need a clean preamp and the Sound Blasters have that.

Worth it
The Sound Blaster X3 performs very well in terms of audio quality. The DAC is able to produce clear and detailed sound, and the amp is powerful enough to drive even high-impedance headphones. The Super X-Fi technology is also very impressive, and can create a truly immersive surround sound experience.ValueThe Sound Blaster X3 is a great value for the money. It offers a wide range of features and excellent audio quality for a relatively affordable price.

Works but bad software
I use this on PC and find the experience lacking mostly due to the controls. I have had problems with the headset not working through the virtual voice interface unless I rotate the physical volume knob each time. Some settings can be controlled via phone app but some like scout mode only work if you have creatives software running on PC. I thought everything would be built into the device since it supposedly works on consoles too, but the pc software is required for a number of features. The pc software also is not very good. It takes forever to launch and has to keep running for all feature to work.
