I purchased this tawa with very high hopes. First thing, the delivery service was very poor. Delivered almost 9 days later than promised. Coming to the product, the material is very good. But design is very poor. The handle is too long and too heavy. The tawa doesn't sit properly on the stove. The heavy handle lifts the tawa off the stand. The handle extends in to the adjacent burner and so you cannot use that. Heats up pretty fast. If it worked, I would probably getting 5 to 6 days of gas saving. But unfortunately, the dosa burns in the center. I've tried different heat settings. Either you get undercooked or center burned dosa. One of the main reason for purchasing this tawa is that the material is carbon steel. But it's heavier than cast iron and heat control is poor unlike steel. In short, don't purchase this product.
