#02 Metallic Blue - Needloft® Craft Cord 2 Pack 40 Yards (2x20yds)

I used to be able to purchase this cording in the craft stores with such a great selection. But not any more.I am so glad I found this vendor to purchase my colorful cording. I even order white and gold cording tofinish a project. I was worried the coloring would not match as the cording I have on hand was froman years past purchase. but the new cording matched perfectly. I am so thrilled. Will definitely buy fromthem again.

This yarn is so amazing and creative. I wish I had learned about it sooner. It adds a great touch to crafting projects, whether alone or as an embellishment to jazz things up. It arrived a few days early, which I'm grateful for as the colors are being used to make ornaments for the family trees. The sparkle is a great enticement to get the younger ones involved in the projects. That being the case, I know I'm going to run out quickly, so it's nice to know where I can order from instead of trying to drive around to crafting stores.As you can see in the attached photo, you can definitely see the difference in candy canes. I got this to use with some hand-crafted Christmas ornaments that I'm making for family and friends this year. I also purchased the silver version of this, and I'm very happy with both.This gold cord is a pretty gold: not too dark, not too light -- just the right shade of gold, not too "tinsel"-ly looking, either. It has some"heft' to it -- it's almost exactly 1/16" in diameter, so it makes a statement without being so big that it's difficult to work with. It would also work well for gift wrapping, tying gift bags -- anywhere you need a bit of golden glitz.Would definitely purchase again!

I bought this item in September but just unboxed it to use it for my Christmas Gifts. I bought it to tie ornaments.Unfortunately, once you cut this string it completely unravels, making it unusable...and when tying it the ends completely fray.Not happy, and now I have a complete set of this cord and no use for it.Please look at this product as soon as you receive it!

If you are into needlecrafts, this is an excellent product, long lasting, and the price is right. I like the white mixed with colors or silver or gold because they are easier to use, but provide a lighter more feathery look then the heavier metallic cord. Every project needs a little bling.

It comes unraveled at the ends as you are working with it. Not terribly, but enough that you lose several inches of cord to fray. Also it’s a little scratchy to work with. Again not terrible, but not perfect either.

It looks like this metalic cord will make excellent necklace and bracelet cords. The metalic thread gives the cord added luster.Would be attractive gift wrapping cord though too expensive for my blood. The solid gold and silver version may make attractive dangles.

Will not buy this again have to use nail polish on ends to thread needle then burn ends when you are done with it. Not at all like Darcie cord.
