Great way to introduce kids to magnetism. Kit includes powered iron in a sealed plastic container. Can be used to show magnetic field.

The media could not be loaded. I got these magnets set for my three-year-old daughter. They are not strongly magnetic, but they are ok for illustrating magnetism. There is a box with a magnetic powder included (sealed so that the child does not touch it), and the powder moves with the movement of the magnet. The magnets are easily breakable, my daughter broke one by accidentally dropping it on the cement, right after I opened the package. This is not the product's fault, since it is mentioned in the instructions that the magnets are brittle and should not be dropped to the ground.

Very disappointing, very very weak magnets, look elsewhere

This was a gift for my 6-year-old grandson. He enjoyed exploring how the magnets worked. The first drop on our tile floor easily broke one of the magnets. Not as sturdy as I expected.

Our 8 year old grandson loves science and experiments. These magnets are a fun summer tool for him to explore the physics of magnets.

The magnets are magnets. They do what magnets do, so that’s fine. I know the packaging says they won’t be too strong, but they’re weaker than a refrigerator magnet. This is being listed as a children’s toy but the little container of magnetic dust is so flimsy that if you drop it from a foot it’ll break. It says 3+ years of age but a grown adult could break it with ease if any pressure is put on the container. I’m not satisfied with this product.

Magnets have very little strength.
