LITMIND 12 Sheets Variety Stained Glass Sheets Pack, 4 x 6 inch Mosaic Glass Tiles for Crafts, Art Glass Pack, Assorted Colors and Patterns(Opaque/Smooth)

I purchased this glass for a couple of projects I am working on.The first you can see is a simple fire truck for my grandson.I found this glass to be fairly brittle and more apt to chip than other glass I have worked with. Cutting in the direction of the pattern stripe of the glass helped but of course that is not always possible.I should note that I am a beginner so my technique may have played a part in how I found the glass difficult or brittle to etch and break cleanly. My glass cutter is new so it is not a dull wheel to blame for the chipping.I hope I have more success with this glass on my next project but at this stage I do not find the glass forgiving and still think it is a little brittle for my liking

I got one sheet more red than the rest and another almost made red, five various shades of orange, one yellow/green, two green, one blue & purple streaks and one blue. I'll use it all eventually but not for the project I wanted it for.

I broke these up and used them in some of my resin projects. I love the effect they give! Price is a bit more than I would hope to pay for a few bits of colored glass...especially since I'ma just break it anyhow, but if you need a variety pack of opaque stained glass, the price does actually seem to be about average for what you get.

Through the years I have found that stained glass has gotten very expensive. I usually bought pieces in a store in the 12" x 12" size. The Litmind 12 sheet variety pack would be in square feet, two of those pieces.The advantage of the Litmiind is that you have more colors. The price is somewhat close depending on the glass you choose. The disadvantage is you might not get a big enough single piece for your project.The 4" x 6" pieces in this collection are perfect for the majority of the things I do. I did have some concern about the glass breaking during shipment, but it is packed extremely well.The glass is very good quality with no flaws.

I got these for my sister who uses stained glass in some of her artwork. She loves the colors of these sheets and says they were easy to cut into the geometric shapes she wanted. They seem thin to me, but she says that they are between 3mm and 4mm which works for her projects.
