which I recommend. The little packets are extremely convenient
As a newly-fledged insomniac of a few years' standing I now depend on these things and keep little hoards of them anywhere I am likely to sleep as well as in bathbag, handbag, rucksack etc. They are not environmentally friendly but you do have the option of reusing them an unspecified number of times, which I recommend. The little packets are extremely convenient. They roll beautifully narrow the first few times, and then slowly get spongier and lose the memory bit of the memory-foam formula. However, they remain usable for many nights longer if you follow a couple of tips and practise a bit. I find the best method is to roll briefly but firmly, swiftly lick the end (I know, I know – and on top of the re-use comment above, too – please, just deal with it, medieval art is full of ear-wax*), and then, while gently pulling back and up on the ear, insert immediately with a slight twisting motion. Cannot easily be done lying down. They successfully block out most noise: aeroplanes overhead, spouse snoring (unless it reaches unreasonable levels), people wheeling plastic-wheeled luggage across pavement bricks in the middle of the night, vixens screaming, the rubbish truck, radiators burbling, next-door shower sounds etc etc. Pretty good for normal treble. They're not great at filtering loud low noise where it starts to be about vibration. NB of course also they won't do anything about your own sounds of breathing, heartbeat, etc. except slightly magnify them. These along with Hearos are the most comfortable earplugs I've found. I have narrow earholes which hurt after more than a few hours of wearing any earplugs but these are the ones I can wear longest. If you find they are particularly painful immediately after insertion, gently (gently!) shift them a scant millimetre outwards by lightly pulling and twisting. It seems to ease them up.The rhubarb-and-custard-on-amphetamines look repelled me at first while I was still using Hearos in soft medical beige. (Hearos are also very comfortable.) However, I've come round to the Laser Lites' bright colour. It doesn't look quite so revolting after repeated use, it's slightly cheering (which is needed at 3.17 am when you realise you're going to have to wear them after all), and it makes them easier to spot in half-light, under bedside cabinets, when desperately rooting through bottom of handbag for emergency pack in strange hotel after forgetting to pack the regulars, etc.*Google 'ear wax medieval painting' if you don't know already.

First class product
Always buy these earplugs, nice and comfortable, easy to mould into your ears.

Good but excess packaging detracts
These are very good, a good shape and they block enough noise for me. I'm disappointed with the excess plastic on each item!

Worth the hype! I can now sleep next to my snoring partner…
The media could not be loaded. I bought these to help me sleep due to my partners snoring. They are fantastic. They don’t block ALL the sound, but I’d say 75% of it. They’re soft and comfortable — easy to put in. I’ve used 1 pair for a week now and no signs they need replacing yet

Best nights sleep!
Absolutely brilliant, had the best nights sleep! Couldn’t hear my husband’s snoring which usually disturbs me

Huge waste of plastic and not as good as I'd hoped
I ordered these not just because of their noise cancellation properties, but also because they were claimed to be comfortable. However, they are no more comfortable than the ones they are replacing, and less comfortable than others I have tried. They work as well for noise cancellation as most earplugs, and the stripey design is cheerful. However, the worst thing is that every single pair was individually packaged in a tiny plastic bag. Why? There is absolutely no reason for this. They could all have been together in one container. It's incredibly wasteful and so environmentally unfriendly.

Better than any others I have tried
The best I’ve used. Very soft and comfortable when used for long periods of time - 3 hours plus, and a great fit as they can be rolled to a fine point before expanding in the ear. I normally wouldn’t review something like this, but they are really effective.

Poor quality, waste of money, too small
Unfortunately I experienced the same issues as many other one star reviews on here. These ear plugs are absolute rubbish and a waste of money. Far too small for them to actually fit in and stay inside your ear canal. As a result they do little to dampen the sound and fall out very easily. The actual foam material is very soft too, feel poor quality. Get the bright orange ones by the same manufacturer, they are much better. I'm starting to doubt lots of products on Amazon now, seems to be an awful lot of junk for sale on here!
