I have tested many barbeque rubs/seasonings available online but they were not at all suitable for Non-veg, they only work for some Veg recipes. But recently I came across this Laajawab rub for Chicken and I have tested in both Chicken as well as mutton. I have to say taste is great and easy to prepare. As a bachelor, it is very helpful as whenever I want to have some Chicken or Mutton, I can prepare quickly and taste is also delicious.

The smokey flavour is good, but the sweetness destroys the dish!

Received the Hot and Sweet Rub and immediately tried it on chicken drumsticks .....Overall loved the burst of flavor and sweetness ... Also, so easy to prepare, no need of any extra ingredients .. In Amazon, I have tried other brands barbeque rubs as well but none are suitable for non-veg like chicken or other meat. This rub goes very well with chicken or any other meat.

It’s nothing sort of extraordinary. The taste is too sweet for my taste. There was a sweet version of this marinade but I ordered this non sweet one but it comes out as very sweet. Not good for starters not even recommended for curry. I prefer the Peri peri marinade over this one. The brand should clearly mention this in their package or description.

This spice blend is perfectly balanced.. not too sweet not too hot. Its just absolutely perfect thing to go with your chicken fry or chicken barbecue. But one needs to follow the instructions carefully. On my first attempt, i didnt add enough of the spice blend to the chicken fry which resulted in a very bland dish. I then read the instructions and followed it to the letter and lo behold... the best chicken fry ever! Kudos to the team!

Tried cooking with mutton, leaves a weird after taste.
