Burgess Supadog Adult dry dog food with tasty chicken 15 kg

Our dog has only ever been fed the Burgess dried food and he is in exceptional condition. We don't want to change but there is something leaking onto food in the bagging process, three out of the last four bags we have bought have smelled mouldy and have had clumps of wet and mouldy food in them. Both the inside and outside of the bags were bone dry and there were no punctures to the bags. We don't want to swap but it appears there are no options to return this product, it would be nigh on impossible bearing in mind the bags are fully opened because we were wary because of the initial and third spoiled bag. If it is something that has been discovered in production and has been sorted, we would be happy to receive three replacement bags. If not, then we require a refund for the three bags. In the meantime we are going to have to buy other food to ensure he has something to eat. Not happy. UPDATE : HAVING GOT NO RESPONSE FROM THIS REVIEW, I CONTACTED BURGESS DIRECT, THE VERY HELPFUL YOUNG LADY EXPLAINED THAT THEY SELL BULK TO AMAZON AND THEREFORE HAVE NO ACCESS TO REVIEWS AND IN REALITY THE SUPPLY IS FROM AMAZON STOCK, THEY THEREFORE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE CONDITIONS THE FOOD IS KEPT IN. SHE IMMEDIATELY ORGANISED REPLACEMENT BAGS AND WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I AM CONTINUING TO BUY THE FOOD BUT DIRECT FROM BURGESS. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I bought 3 different feeds at the same time as this one. I also compared them to another I have been using for a long time. Including Burgess' own "Finest Greyhound and Lurcher" feed. I have a Lurcher. If I put these next to the 3 other types or if I have the made-for-breed pellets in one hand and these in the other she will ignore the rest and go for these. She likes them and her coat is shiny and soft, she is not producing nasty gas as can happen with many brands and USUALLY at ANY time you change a dogs base food. The 15kg bag over most brands' 12kg or 12.5kg also adds value. The photo is what my dog thinks about the idea of me NOT getting this feed again.

I ordered a 15kg bag, what arrives was 12.5kg may not seem like a big difference but I was planning on using this company as a permanent source for my dog. And buy 15kg as it lasts long enough. I spoke to Amazon and was given "the difference" which doesn't get my dog fed... Also the price considering it's 12.5kg is too high. Even though my dog enjoyed the food..

My 2 dogs (Boston Terrier & French bulldog) can be extremely fussy when it comes to food.But I have to say they absolutely love this! No turning their noses up, they just get straight in and scoff the lot. The amount of foods ive bought and given away because they've point blank refused to eat despite giving them nothing else for days is unreal. Too soon to say whether it gives them wind or not (they've beeen eating it 3-4 days but no major windy moments as of yet) but for me the fact they will eat it is a plus! Great price and delivery speed

My three dogs eat a combination of raw food and dry food. I decided to try Burgess Adult with chicken after comparing several brands. I had never heard of it before but was impressed when I looked at their website. This is now my dogs favourite dry food and I am more than happy with it too because it does not upset their digestive system. Their 'poo' is always solid after eating this product - sorry to be so explicit but I feel it is important. This dog food is good value for money as it is not expensive - I definately recommend it.

My dog suffers with skin typical GSD but changed him to this food and he’s not itching as much anymore no flaky skin, and his coat is shiny again. He’s been on all sorts of hypoallergenic feed and got worse, this is the best so sticking to it now

Don’t like the fact that the food is coloured. Dropped bakers because of this as I’ve read it’s not good for dogs. He does eat it ok.

My two pooches have had an upset tummy the last few days but we could not find the underlying problem so stopped their usual dog food. We gave them a break and then introduced this product and they love it. I have no idea why other than is is bright, larger pieces and does not have a distinct smell. Good news is that both pooches tummies have settled too.
