Dr. Yates MD hair + science - Thickening Shampoo, Adds Volume and Supports Prevention of Loss, For Men and Women (240ml)

To be honest, I am not sure why this shampoo is marked as "thickening." It's a very nice shampoo, but it does nothing to lift your hair. Yes, the hair looks healthier, but not fuller. I am not planning to purchase it again. Kiehl's version seems to work better.

I recently bleached and cut my hair very short, near the beginning of February 2024, and realized that it had thinned out quite a bit since the last haircut I received in the fall of 2022. I started to do any treatments I could to revive what little of my hair I had left. I also used Dr. Yates MD's Thickening Shampoo. It did help, but as I have been using several remedies, the best treatments are not in shampoos or conditioners. Consider the natural elements in your diet before going towards shampoos or conditioners. So first, consider how much collagen, biotin, keratin, hyaluronic acid, iron, and saw palmetto you have in your diet, as these are the necessary building blocks for hair growth. So, be sure to get these things into your diet first and foremost, and then consider using shampoos and conditioners with hair regrowth claims.This shampoo affected hair regrowth on nearly every part of my body, including facial and chest hair. Even leg hair grew more rapidly after using it. So, I highly recommend this shampoo over other brands with hair growth claims.PS—Bleaching your hair is extremely bad for anyone who likes having hair. It may ultimately kill the hair follicles and permanently cause baldness. If you like having hair, NEVER EVER BLEACH your hair.

Tried it for a week, had a similar experience of another review that got a rash. Actually had hair falling out faster after trying this. Instant regret.

This was delivered one month ago to the day, and I have been using it 4 times a week since. Does it tingle, even slightly burn? Yes. Does that make it feel like something is working? Yes. Do I have more and/or thicker hair? No. I actually feel like I might have less hair. Things to note: I am 53, and maybe this will take longer, or not work at all. Perhaps this is made for, and will work for you "youngins". I don't think it will for me.

I have been using Dr. Yates shampoo for a few months now. It has helped my thinning of the hair along with minimizing with my hair falling out. It has left my hair so shiny and a lot fuller. I have tried many hair products to help with thinning of hair and I wish i would of found this product a lot sooner. Highly recommend this product along with the hydrating conditioner! Can’t wait for the thickening serum to become available on Amazon!
