Beike BK-45 Gimbal Tripod Head Specialized 1/4" for Telephoto Lens Camera LF213

Why pay more? I use this with my 20+ yr old Velbon D600 tripod and I would have to say it performs as well as heads which are 4x the price.Some have posted that it's a little bit stiff but that's not my experience and on the plus side I can aim my lens upwards without it dropping when I let go. (See photo = 7dmkii and 100-400L mki - head not locked but lens will remain pointing upwards). Will easily support much bigger lenses - just make sure your tripod is rated for that weight too ;)Side to side and up/down movement are smooth as they need to be, and as others say if it isn't then a drop of wd40 will put that right.Can't see me needing another at any time soon, but wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if I did.

Nice inexpensive affordable Gimbal Tripod Head in comparison with other well known brands.Decided to purchase this after seeing a demonstration by a British Professional Photographer.He explained pros and cons and was anticipating them on arrival of the item. It needs a bit of Tender Loving Care (TLC) such as gluing the rubber ring on the end of the Arca Swiss plate and carefully engaging the lens (Tripod) foot.If the lens is too heavy such as a Sigma 150 mm-600 mm Sports version, it certainly needs much care. Could become loose after continuous usage and needs to monitor attachment is security. Used PTFE tape on threads for extra grip.Some movements were restricted but with a light lubrication on the relevant parts, it worked fine. I like it and recommend to anyone who likes a budget level Gimbal Tripod Head.

I only received this today but I am really impressed with the build quality and usability.I was out with it at our village cricket match and used it with my Nikon D700 with battery pack I paired this up with both my Sigma 50-500 "Bigma" lens and my Sigma 70-200 f2.8 both are fairly heavy lumps but this gimbal head works great much better support than a ball head mount.From my checking around I honestly think this is good value for money.I like most hobby photographers I know have to stay within a reasonable budget so if I can save some money on items like this it leaves more for lenses,filters,PC software and such

Was a little sceptical when comparing prices of other well known brands. But having read many other reviews decided to take a gamble. Item is heavy but well built and on mine found adjustments to work just fine. Have now used this product for motorsport, aviation and other subject photography and been very pleased with how it operates. I'm now a convert from hand held shooting on fast moving subjects whilst using heavier telephoto lenses as I feel my hit rate has increased. I keep a quick release plate fixed to all lenses that I am likely to use which makes changing lenses using this system very fast. To sum up, I'd say this item represents good value for money and would rather put the money saved (against other well known brands) towards another lens.

Superb product for the money. I bough this to go on my monopod which takes my sigma 150-600 sport and d7200. That weighs about 4.3kg and the head handles it fine. I've taken it birding and to airshows and it's performed flawless every time. As it's on thye cheap end I do keep my black rapid sport slight bolted to the lens should there be a failure but so far all is good. The only thing I would say if your using the same lens on it is that you'll probably want a longer plate than the 60mm. when the lens is fully out it tends to dip forwards even though I have it mounted as far back as I can. A 120mm plate solved this issue for a few quid extra.

I read all the critics and took a chance on this. Someone had a down on this and I cannot understand it. At this price it is very good indeed. Does what it says and once you have had a try out it is fine. The wee compass is an add-on so just ignote it. The bubble levels are not so good, but don't need them anyway.....Just use the levels in you camera and if you get that wrong..."Lightroom 5" will fix it anyway. Good buy - Good Bye!

On the whole I am very satisfied with this product. The only problem is the difficulty of tightening up the 'arca' grip with the small thumb wheel fitted.I balanced the humble with my largest lens, however, with larger lenses fitted, it never appears to be tight enough, and as worked loose, giving some concern.I have got over this problem by attaching strap to lens, and strapped that to tripod head, or around my neck whilst using a monopod. At this price-point one cannot argue, as it still remains excellent value for money

Come da titolo, vista l'esperienza mia e di diversi conoscenti posso dire che questo venditore sia un truffatore. Acquisto il prodotto a fine giugno, immediatamente arriva la notifica di spedizione con consegna prevista tra il 10 e il 20 luglio e relativo addebito. Viene comunicato il trading code di DHL che rimarrà sempre inesistente. Il 20 contatto il venditore direttamente e anche tramite Amazon. Questo non risponde ma di contro sposta al 25 luglio la consegna senza cambiare il tracking code. Altra telefonata ad Amazon e apro un claim accettato e già rimborsato. Conosco almeno altre 8 persone che hanno avuto la stessa identica esperienza. 5 stelle solo ad Amazon per la disponibilità e la gestione del caso. Spero che il venditore venga bannato da Amazon

Der Gimbal-Kopf, welcher von XCSOURCE verkauft wird, ist das Model Beike-45.Mit meiner Canon EOS 50D incl. original Batteriegriff und dem Tamron SP AF 200-500mm F/5-6,3 Di LD [IF]wird er spielend fertig. Ist die Kombination erst einmal mit dem verstellbaren Schlitten in die Waage gebracht,lässt sie sich leicht,bei angenehmen Widerstand, in alle Positionen schwenken.Zwar nicht ganz so leichtgängig wie bei den Premiumherstellern, dafür aber zu einem 1/6 des Preises.Mein Fazit: Wer für große Kamera/Objektivkombinationen einen günstigen Gimbal sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.PS. Bei meiner ersten Bestellung kam es leider zu einem Transportschaden. Das Team von XCSOURCE hat diese aber anstandslos zurückgenommen und mir einen neuen Gimbalkopf zukommen lassen. ALLE anfallenden Kosten (incl. Rücksendeporto) wurden mir zurückerstattet. DAS nenn ich Kundenservice : macht weiter so !

Diciamo che per il costo che ha, quello che offre è decisamente positivo. Movimenti fluidi sia con obiettivi e macchine pesanti (serie 1D e 500) che con soggetti più leggeri. Unica pecca riscontrata (sul mio e su quello di un amico,) è la non perfetta posizione orizzontale della macchina una volta fissata, cosa risolvibile tranquillamente, ma se fosse stata maggiormente precisa, sarebbe stato molto meglio...

Di per se l'oggetto è interessante (l'avevo già visto da un conoscente) e la costuzione apprezzabile. Le finiture sono adeguate alla funzione che può e deve svolgere.Sarebbe bello anche riceverlo: ma questi sono particolari. Il caso.

Für das Geld ist die Affenschaukel gut verarbeitet und leicht zu bedienen. Die Kamera sitzt gut und sicher und ist in alle Richtungen zu bewegen. Die Funktionen sind einen Hauch von schwergängig. Bin sehr zufrieden und würde jederzeit wieder darauf zurückgreifen.

Zu diesem Preis und der Verarbeitung(****Sterne) ist man in Europa positiv überascht!Von diesem Hersteller würde ich gerne mehr Protukte sehen.

Technisch 100%, etwas schwerer als Original aber alles Super, sein Geld auf jedenfall wert.Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen, aber hält ewig.

die Ware ist sehr schnell angekommen, alerdings nicht bei mir sondern beim Zoll. Dort musste ich zu dem Amazonpreis noch Zollgebühren (19%) entrichten,Das Teil wiegt 1224 gramm, ist relativ schwergängig. In der Praxis habe ich es nicht ausprobiert, die Anbringung an meinen Manfrotostativ war problemlos. Die Auflage des Gimbals ist etwas zu schmal, so daß die Konterschrauben der Kopfbefestigung gerade den Rand des Kopfes erreicht haben.Äuserer Eindruck ist vielversprechend. Wenn mann keine grossen Ansprüche auf Gängigkeit, Präzision und Gewicht legt ist das Teil zu empfehlen. Preis-Leistungsverhältniss ist Ok.

Für den Preis voll in Ordnung. Noch etwas schwergängig, lag aber vielleicht auch daran das es im Moment etwas kalt ist.Allerdings durfte ich auch beim Zoll die 19% Einfuhrumsatzsteuer zahlen. Bei XCSOURCE reklamiert. Soll die 19% = 16,91€ rückerstattet bekommen. Amazon sollte dafür sorgen, dass Händler aus Fernost in Ihren Profilen darauf hinweisen, dass bei Versand nach Deutschland bei einem Warenwert >22,-€ Einfuhrumsatzsteuer fällig werden können.Die Verpackung war äusserst mangelhaft. In Luftpolsterfolie eingewickelt und im Luftpolsterumschlag verschickt. Die eine Schraube schaute schon fast aus dem Umschlag. Bei dem Gewicht unmöglich.Daher nur 3 Sterne!
