About as good as you can get without making it yourself!
I was very happy to find some jerky that's not full of nitrates and msg and other lovely things to make me sick. It was a tad more "spicy" than I like (I'm a wuss) but it was good, and satisfying so that I didn't feel like I needed to eat the whole bag in one sitting. It's jerky, so yeah, some peices are like chewing on leather and some are like eating a super well-done steak. Welcome to jerky-eating, y'all. But yeah, the biggest bonus for me is not getting sick off the ingredients... everything else is secondary. Yay for healthy snacks!

OM NOM NOM
OM NOM NOM GIMME MORE WANT MORE. I like beef jerky, and this is one of the better flavors from one of the best brands. My Wife, however... I hide the bags, because she will literally down the entire bag in about 30 seconds. This is her ABSOLUTE Favorite brand and flavor, and we can't seem to find them in any of the stores anywhere near us.

Good snack
Tasted like Boston Baked Beans in a good way. Nutritious snack high in protein and not loaded with fat and calories. The package said it was flushed with nitrogen. This is a big plus because the contents would stay fresh MUCH longer that way. This would make a good lightweight backpacking or hiking food that could be added to dehydrated stews during cooking. Four stars because my preference in beef jerky is for the very dry hard version that breaks when you bend it. This is more chewy in texture but still very good.

Best Beef Jerky
This is the best beef jerky I've ever had. I'm not a big fan of beef jerk but once I tried this stuff I put it on my Subscribe and Save list. Most jerky is super tough but Oberto's isn't. Most is full of nitrates but Oberto's isn't. I'm not a vegetarian but I find it very hard to get the amount of daily protein I need. This helps me meet my protein goal! It's not something you want to snack on all day because of the salt content, but for an occasional snack, or for a quick boost to meet a protein goal, it's the best!

Salty, no the best cut of beef.

Tasty Stuff
Very good jerky. And like all jerky very overpriced. Maybe it's because I grew up in a rural area where several people made their own jerky. Everyone was certainly proud and appreciative of a good batch - but never considered it should be in the same price range as truffles and foie gras. :)

Too Sweet!
As an adult I've been eating jerky all my life. I literally used to ask for jerky for Christmas as a child! I consider myself a "Jerky Connoisseur." With that said, Oberto has changed it's recipe from the wonderful jerky they made years ago. All of the versions with the exception of the peppered have sugar, as it's SECOND ingredient!!!! WHO uses SUGAR as a main ingredient in a beef snack???? I'll bet the cowboys & Indians didn't put sugar in their jerky! When I want something sweet, I get a candy bar, but when I want jerky, I want beef & salt. I could never understand why anyone would want their jerky sweet. With that said, the only version that I found that I liked was the "peppered," It has corn syrup instead of sugar and at least the corn syrup isn't as sweet. If you want REAL jerky and not a candy snack, stay away from any version that isn't the peppered.

Yuck. Try bacon or pork jerky instead.
Probably a nice treat for your dog.
