Army Vintage Canvas Messenger Bag Military Green - Larger Version

Looks great. Mine doesn't quite look like the picture but it was what I was looking for. Some of the pockets have zippers while a couple don't. Feels like it's made of sturdy material. It does have the hook clips in the front but not the different colored looking straps.

I have wanted the Serbag Army Vintage messenger for a long time. I read all the reviews and was tempted by other styles but this bag called to me above all the others and it's finally mine! The Dark Khaki color is actually more yellowish than the picture and the shoulder strap is actually a contrasting brown. But it is beautiful and an important addition to my otherPost-Apocalyptic accoutrements which can be paired with tight camouflage leggings, tactical fanny pack the requisite combat boots mirror aviator shades and thin slightly torn ribbed tank top...Back to the bag itself. It's about 14"x15"x5" Sturdy canvas main compartment zips to close (There are small gaps at the ends) The best feature is the flap with two large metal grommets that secure the bag with two strong snap hooks. This is kind of hot! There are three zippered compartments on the outside for easy access to glasses, pen or pencil,lip balm, mini flashlight, etc. Printed letters and numbers to accentuate that Army Issue look.The bag is well made and functional and looks amazing. it's worth the price and did I mention it arrived right on time?

The bag was well made and held everything I needed it to hold. My 15" laptop and iPad and accessories. The only problem I had with it was the latches to secure the top of the bag. The clamps were not that easy to open and inserting the loops through the hole and securing with the latches just became a pain. The latch for the small pocket on the front kept coming undone as well.

Also Serbags is charging me shipping & handling again to send back for a refund! REALLY? Considering the price & boastede reputation of their products; the quality of the strap buckle snapping/breaking in less than a weeks use was a bit dissappointing. BUT... as the customer paying for S&H again to send back defective merchandise is what really makes no sense and this type of customer service from Serbags will be noted...

I like the way this bag looks, but its functionality and design are pretty awful. If you want to close the top of the bag with the flap, it's a major hassle trying to clip the hooks in place. It'd be fine if you rarely need to get into your bag, but I'm the kind of person who's constantly putting things into it and taking them out again. So I just leave the flap open constantly, which means you can't see the cool red stenciling that drew me in to buy it in the first place. Also, there are straps that come down and fasten to the lower front pocket, and if they're buttoned, it makes accessing the front pocket really tedious. You have to either undo the buttons to access the pocket, or awkwardly unzip the pocket behind the straps and try to dig to find what you need, then awkwardly rezip. The shoulder strap is constantly getting twisted, won't stay adjusted to the length that I want it to be (it just keeps getting longer and longer as I walk/take the bag off and on). The inside is nice and spacious with a few pockets and one zipped pocket, so that is nice. I do still use this bag (actively using it now) because I'm stubborn and have sort of figured out a way to make it work for me (after all, a bag is designed to hold things, and it does succeed in being able to do that). But I would not really recommend this bag to anyone else. In fact, my friend commented on how cute it was, but after telling her about all the functionality issues, I'd convinced her it wasn't worth her time or money, regardless of its aesthetics. I also just noticed that my bag and the bag shown in the product description are similar but not the same (the front pockets are different). The pocket in the product description looks like it would be functional and avoid the issue I described when the snaps are buttoned. So either they have redesigned the bag since I bought it and the front pocket is no longer an issue... or you can expect to get a bag that's not what is advertised. I'd just be aware of that if you decide to buy it.

Really like the messenger bag. One of the side zippers broke after several weeks. Other than that, it is good for what I needed it for.

I was looking for a very urban looking but functional messenger type bag. The picture of the bag is an accurate representation of what it looks like but really, this bag is HOT when you see it in person. It is also well made and has more room than I expected, it appears very sturdy. Don't get me wrong, it is not a computer bag (a 15 inch computer would fit in it) but it would fit a tablet. My Nook goes with me everywhere and it fits in this without any trouble.I love it. It was exactly what I was looking for. And just a quick note on the enclosures, they are not exactly "easy in, easy out", but I like the security of the hooks. I travel all the time and this is a very secure bag when closed which fits my needs perfectly. The 3 small outside pockets are very accessible. I hate velcro and this bag has no velcro.I am a very happy customer. One final note, delivery was as promised which is always a plus.

Quality is ok, inside pocket ripping from the inside seams.
