Product Description Supagrill Lumpwood Charcoal is easy to light, gives good heat output and helps give your food that lovely traditional barbecue flavour. Suitable for use with most modern or traditional Charcoal Barbeques. Directions Open all vents on the grill. Place the Supagrill Lumpwood Charcoal on the grill. Place a suitable amount of firelighters in between the charcoals. Using a match or butane lighter, light the firelighters, or alternatively, soak the whole surface of the lumpwood charcoal with an appropiate lighter fluid. Leave to soak in. Using a match or butane lighter, light the charcoals. When the flames die down and the Supagrill Lumpwood Charcoal turns grey or glows arrange the charcoal as desired using a long handled barbeque tool.

Four stars because of smaller size lumps and no carry handle.
I have compared this with a different brand which I had left from a previous barbecue. This is a lot more crumbled and produces fine dust which burns quickly, this in windy conditions could help with the the lighting. Once going heat given off is ok but it needs to be topped up regularly to maintain it.A handle, either a cut out or glued on cardboard would have been nice.

Terrible product. The entire bag was virtually dust. Useless for the BBQ - had to send someone out to the nearest petrol station to get charcoal that would actually work in a BBQ.

Good charcoal. Needs around an hour of burning before it turns 'white hot', cooks the meat evenly and when done turns into a very fine white ash. Recommended.
