CamelBak Crux reservoir

I stopped using camelbacs years ago, due to the funky taste it produced, it was a good price and I needed a new one to replace a different branded bladder.Totally upped their game, bite valve still excellent, no leaks, filling of the bladder is great. Had a bit of fall going up hill, lost my footing and landed on my back, this camelbac took the full weight of me and it was unscathed. Brilliant 👍🏻

I needed a convenient water reservoir for a long walk. This product fitted the bill perfectly. I bought the 2 litre model. I think this was a good choice for me as 2 litres of water is quite heavy. The quantity was quite sufficient for a days walking in not too hot conditions. The construction is light but robust. It is easy to fill. It apparently has an anti-bacterial coating which is a nice touch. The drinking tube fitted in my rucksack well and it didn't take long to get used to the drinking mouthpiece (not having used one of these reservoirs before). The mouthpiece did not leak at all. Not the cheapest of reservoirs but felt it was worth it for a quality product.

Large opening to fill up from and importantly, to empty and keep dry when not using. Good quality, worth the money.

I've had camel items before and and ive always found them very good and this item is no exception.Allot of thought has been put into the design. The size of the filler allowes easy filling and makes it easy to dry. Even the handle makes for easy handling when filling. Well worth that little extra cost.

Bought for my daughters silver dofe expedition. Initially worried it was going to explode but it didnt.

Great for adding to either of my back packs and easy to both use and clean. Much better than carry and using a bottle on hikes.

Original bladder with Camelbak has done many miles over quite a few years with no problems. Makes sense to buy a like for like just to refresh. New one looks same quality with improved mouth piece.Looking forward to using for many more miles !

No leaks, easy fill, great drink valve with good flow and no drips

Bought for a backpacking trip and it worked out wonderful. Smart design that allows you to bite down on the straw to release the water flow. There’s also a valve to stop accidental water spills. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the filling cap was so wide and bulky. That makes it a little awkward to fill it up and close once it’s full, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

As described on Amazon. Built and designed much better than the original bladder in every way. I should have ordered the 2L versus the 1.5L.

This was to replace my son's old camelbak bladder. My son has had a mini mule for year and the pack was still in good condition, but the mouth piece has started to leak, the old hose was smaller and was getting stiff. this bladder has a hose that is a bit longer, but not an issue.
