Avoid, waste of money. Blades become blunt after a few pencils.
Used it for about three months to sharpen my pastel pencils, worked well to begin with but after sharpening about 40 pencils it failed to work, the blade is so blunt I doubt it would sharpen a piece of chalk I have e-mailed the company but no reply. I would not reccomend this item I would go further and say avoid at all costs. Do not waste your money.

Great color pencil sharpener
It works great for color pencils..easy to use and clean. The color part of pencil does not break off as with ordinary sharpeners, therefore, saving the usage of pencil longer.
