Ikea STOPP FILT Rug Underlay with Anti-Slip, 165x235 cm (5 ' 5"x7 ' 9")

Was not difficult to unfold and lay flat. Nice and thick so provides a cushioning effect. Rug not budging so far

I bought this to go under my new rug which is on a tiled floor. The rug had been slipping around. The underlay was a little larger than my rug and it folds back on itself and sticked to itself so I didn't need to trim it. It has been holding the rug perfectly in place for the last week and has made the rug softer to sit on.Unpacking it was hard work and made my shoulders ache because it was adhered to itself, that probably shows how effective it is.

I bought this even though there was a few negative reviews and I'm please I did. I've stuck ot down to one of these new carpets as seen in pictures you know the so called non slip that definitely slips .I have found this perfect to use and I have not had one accident on it, the rug stays still and does as its suppose to do . I did buy the full size and laid my rug upside down and worked from one side to the other and its perfect . However I will say getting it apart in the first place was a bit tough as its folded and sticks together but I eventually got there . As I said does what it's supposed to do and that's what matters to me most .

Bought this to replace some anti-slip underlay from Dunelm when it had eventually lost its tackiness. This Ikea product is so much bigger than I needed so I was able to cut it in half and save some. At first it seemed to be doing the job but it very quickly started slipping. It works ok under a heavy rug, but under anything light its pretty hopeless. Once I've used up the spare piece that I had from this Ikea underlay I will probably be going back to Dunelm

We used two of the products to stop a large rug from slipping and much to our delight and surprise it worked.

This is a good size for the money, far more in Next. It will make the rug more bouncy

Didn’t stop the rug from moving. Very annoying.
