If I could have given this 10 out of 5 I would have, i didn't believe all the hype about them beforehand but having purchased two electric ice crushers over the years which were ok but not ' All weekend party standard' , I decided to go caveman style with a hand job ice crusher. Having read up on them vigorously, I found out that the originals were designed by NASA for their Astronauts, as apparently ice is hard to crush in a zero gravity environment. These bad boys crush anything including small rocks with ease.

Simple design and works however only in small amounts of ice the same time. Well made so won't break.

Perfect for making smaller amounts. You'd have to be pretty weak not to be able to use it - even if you were struggling I would have thought you could place it on a worktop then lean down on it? Much better results than my food processor, which just seems to produce slush puppies, and no slower than using the crank handle types - the spindles of which go rusty after a couple of years. Nothing to go rusty here.

This is a joke, right? Good grief! I was completely unable to crush one ice cube. My husband with strong arms was able to, but not without effort. It's in the drawer. Maybe we'll find a use for it, but not for crushing ice!

Good ice crusher, after reading reviews of mechanical crushers (with handles or electric powered ones) I went for one that wouldn't break. This is super strong, crunch ice once for larger pieces, empty it out after the first one, put the pieces back in to crush them a second time for smaller pieces.It's not something you would use en-mass but to crush 20 or so cubes, all good!

Put the ice cube in, squeeze the handle, crush ice. It's that simple. Requires surprisingly little force and can fit 2 regular sized cubes at a time. Once you get used to it you can easily crush a glass of ice in 20 seconds or so. Solid metal construction gives me the confidence to believe it will last for many years.

Pros- well built and study- comes apart into two pieces so easy to cleanCons- very small compartment so only able to do one ice cube at a time - smashes it suddenly, going everywhere (because the ice is exposed on one side at point of crushing so tends to shoot that way)- basic lever so wouldn’t be much use if you have weak grip

Just received this it is expensive for what it is but works well.It fits 2 ice cubes in at a time, but is fine for a cocktail or two

I wanted a simple ice cracker and this works great. Our LG refrigerator makes ice cubes, not cracked ice. This cracks 1 or 2 cubes. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I have used it for a few months with no problems.

Zunächst möchte ich anmerken, wir hatten bereits einen mechanischen Eiscrusher zum kurbeln, einen größeren elektrischen Eiscrusher und wir waren nie zufrieden.Die Stabilität dieser Geräte war nicht zuverlässig.Diese kleine Eiscrusher-Zange hingegen macht bisher einen wirklich sehr guten Eindruck und funktioniert perfekt.Die Eiscrusher Zange macht einen sehr massiven und stabilen Eindruck.Wir benutzen mittelgroße Eiswürfel, in dieser Größe passt nur 1 Eiswürfel in die Zange hinein.Die beiden Hälften der Zange lassen sich leicht verbinden und auch wieder trennen.Das Zusammendrücken der beiden Hälften funktioniert leicht und der Eiswürfel wird perfekt zerlegt.Auch meiner Frau fällt die Bedienung dieser Zange sehr leicht.Auch die Reinigung ist sehr einfach.Für 2 Personen ganz sicher eine gute Anschaffung.

Nice product. I wanted something durable instead of other noisy electric solutions.This fits the bill perfectly.One minor side effect. The coating/paint will start to crack and flake after using it a lot. Sometimes a chip of paint will end up in the crushed ice. Which is why I only give it 3 stars. Without chipping paint it would get a 5/5.

It does it's job.

Fa egregiamente il suo lavoro, entrano due cubetti per volta, ma almeno al lavoro non mi distruggo le mani rompendo il ghiaccio. Unica pecca si sgancia continuamente la parte superiore (perché è progettato così) sarebbe stato più comodo un unico blocco. Comunque lo consiglio
