Who Lost Afghanistan? [Spencer, Robert] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Who Lost Afghanistan? Review: Wow - As you read it you are not sure if you should be mad or sad. What a waste of lives, time, money, and good will. Review: Great explanation of what happened - This book gives a great explanation and clarity on what went wrong during the 20 years in Afghanistan. The lack of understanding Islamic beliefs, misunderstanding the culture, and ignoring moral issues are a few (not all) of the reasons addressed in this book on why Afghanistan was lost. This book goes through the 20 year war and examines what was said by the Presidents during the time as well as what was actually happening in Afghanistan. Very insightful as I would expect from Robert Spencer.

Great review of US policies toward Afghanistan and Islamic countiries
I love all things Robert Spencer. I greatly appreciate the clarity he brings of the current crisis in Afghanistan. It brings into perspective the US policies over Islam and the Middle Eastern countries more broadly.

Ridiculous book
Mr. Spencer seems to be wholly unaware of "Five Dancing Israelis" and therefore draws ridiculous conclusion that have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt as a false narrative. The third building falling by controlled demolition is an obvious and painful challenge to the notion that these planes are the cause of the buildings falling. This is a psyop of the Mossad of massive proportion, and the architects and engineers who are working together to challenge the "approved narrative" that the fall of the twin towers was anything other than a planned demotion to provoke the excuse to advance AIPAC's desired agenda in the middle east. I cannot recommend the book, but I do recommend you look into Architect and Engineers against 9-11 and the video clip showing the five Mossad agents who were caught celebrating the Twin Towers fall and their convenient appearance in the United States just at the right time to observe the happenings.

Excellent account of what actually happened in the disaster of Afghanistan.
I like the honesty, the facts in this account of the Afghan disaster, which could have and should have been prevented.

Robert Spencer makes clear in this book that politicians have a duty to understand Islam. All 21st century US presidents have tragically failed in this regard.
