WOW! Great Monitor!
WOW! I took a chance and purchased this refurbished item..... and can honestly say that it is the best refurbished purchase I have made!Pros:-DP, HDMI, and DVI ports-Light in weight compared to other monitors of this size-Excellent viewing quality.... even when scaled to larger views-Outstanding condition for a refurbished item..... I can't tell the difference from a new item!Cons:-The POWER LED on the monitor I received does not work. Otherwise, the monitor functions as it should.-The monitor controls are a bit odd.... it's more or less a "jog" toggle, that you press one of four directions.... not very intuitive, and somewhat difficult to get to the setting you seek.-The vesa mounting holes are at the very top/rear of the monitor..... meaning that if mounted via vesa/articulating arm, it requires the arm to be mounted higher then normal on the wall or whatever you're mounting the articulating arm to.- The higher than normal location of the vesa mounting holes makes setting the monitor on a tilted angle a bit tougher.... when you loosen the tilt on a mounting arm....the weight/center of gravity, makes the monitor hang straight in a vertical plane.... not a big thing, but annoying.NOTE: If you have never used a 4K monitor.....be warned, at native resolution EVERYTHING is VERY small. For my 50+ eyes, I had to enlarge the display to 175%, and set my web browser to 150% in order to read/see everything. The up side is that even at those increased size, text and images are super crisp and clear.FINAL THOUGHTS: Personally, I prefer Glossy screen monitors, they simply offer clearer and more vibrant images and text..... however, after searching for months, I am yet to find any company that offers a Glossy Screen/27+"/4K monitor. This monitor has a matte screen, which is going to take some getting used to. Overall, this monitor is excellent.... especially for a refurbished product, and for the price.

Great Monitor and capable of 4k 72Hz over Display port!!!
I am a casual gamer and I am pretty picky when it comes to contrast, colors and overall picture quality. I was not sure what I was going to get out of this monitor, but I will say after calibrating this monitor the colors are quite good, and the resolution is obviously amazing at 4k. The one thing I was worried about is the 60Hz limit on 4k. Again casual gamer, so while I love high textures, and detail I still want playable frame rates. I was able to create a custom resolution profile in Nvidia control panel to get 4k 72Hz over display port, which I know is technically not supposed to be possible according to display port 1.2 specs, but it works and I have verified with testufo.com. I did also enable freesync in the monitor menu. I know this has nothing to do with Nvidia cards, but I think by enabling it I was able to overclock the refresh rate. I will double check when i get home if I turn freesync off if it breaks the refresh capabilities and update the review. Obviously 72Hz is nothing amazing, but definitely noticeable difference to 60Hz. Loving the monitor for the price and what you get out of it!

Big, great color and brightness
Display clarity is great as is the size. I can’t say how the included stand is as I bought it to mount to an arm using the vesa mount holes.I knocked off 1 star as the mount holes being all the way at the top make it less easy to position. Other than that this display is great. So much Desktop space.I get 4K @ 60 hz over HDMI on a dongle to my new 2018 MBP and still decent rez @30 hz on my older 2013 MBP.I liked it enough that I bought a second one via woot deal.

Loved it for almost a year
This was a fantastic monitor for nearly a year, until today. I noticed there is a black area on the left hand side, looks like dead pixels. Terrible that I purchased less than a year ago and now am having this issue. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Incredibly cheap, with terrible viewing angles...but...incredibly cheap
This monitor is an INCREDIBLE value if you need 4K with broad color support and are willing to put up with a bunch of hassles every time you use it. No matter how you use this thing, the panel is so poor that you can observe massive color shifts from top to bottom while seated and looking at it. This panel is so bad that "off-axis" viewing happens ALL THE TIME. Literally. It is impossible to correct for this, making it so that you can either see about the top 2/3 of the monitor with proper color, or the bottom 2/3...but never all of It at once. Heaven help you if you try to stand up or bring a second person into the equation, as the color basically inverts when off-axis by more than ~45 degrees. The included stand is terrible, and angles the monitor's top toward you (presumably in an attempt to minimize the awful viewing angle...it does not help). The build quality is, in a word, terrible. The VESA bracket is in the wrong place, so the only practical way to mount it on a monitor arm is upside down. I did that, and it sort of helped, but again, you can't fix the core problems of this thing by mounting it differently. You can just make it sort of tolerable. And keep in mind that buying a monitor arm adds to the price...which you probably could've just spent on a better monitor to start with.Color accuracy is actually pretty good (though it MUST be calibrated; I used an i1 Display Pro, which I don't expect most people would have). For the price, the color capabilities are astonishing. Of course, as I mentioned before, you can't use this for serious color work like photography or video editing without constantly moving the monitor around and tilting it (something that is actually not possible with the included stand, which is fixed in place), in order to double check color across the breadth of the screen.I bought this thing because I absolutely needed to view wide-color 4K and I had approximately zero dollars to spend on the project. I'm glad I bought it, because it was a real bargain and I was able to achieve my goal. But when I finally upgraded to a 5K display with a decent panel, I understood precisely how bad this 4K model was, and how inappropriate it is for any use case I can imagine. It's bad for games. It's bad for productivity. It's bad for photos and video. What in the world is it good for? It's good for being extremely cheap. If you absolutely cannot afford anything better, then go ahead and get this. But for virtually all users, a lower-resolution (but better quality) panel would be a vastly better solution.Do not buy this monitor if you can possibly avoid it.
