Tales from the House of Morecock Paperback – Illustrated, 1 April 2005

Not a long book, but does have some short but horny stories.The pictures do not have like the Japenese fine drawings, butthat is no problem at all, as you get the meaning of the story veryclear. It certainly is not for prudes at all, but fun for others.The stories are very simple, but if you want a comic/book it is goodbut bad as well.

Peccato che la serie sia composta da soli due volumi.In ognuno dei due c'è una storia che non compare nel DVD (peccato che sia introvabile).I disegni sono divertenti e simpatici, tutto il prodotto risulta essere accattivante e senza false pretese.Stile interessante.

I guess one should probably watch the film instead: the idea of a sex craving young stud constantly crossing supernatural horny (male) creatures is funny just as the setting and the characterization.Unfortunately the drawings are a bit sketchy: something which probably would pass unnoticed in an animated feature but not in a close up examination as it is allowed by a comic book: a comic highlights the sexual content of the single strip over the action and such sexual content is centered on the details of the drawings.Only for adult readers.

Let's face it, a lot of this kind of writing is juvenile, but that may not be a bad thing. The art is nice, the writing is a cut above the usual sort I find in most work like this. I've seen worse, and this is not a bad way to spend some time. Phillips is an excellent artist and let's face, we've all had fantasies like this or we wouldn't be reading it. I don't regret the money spent.
