STEAM LINK

Having been unable to convince the wife to have a PC in the living room, this is ideal. My source PC is close enough to control directly with my wireless keyboard and mouse, which likely reduces lag a lot, but pad games also work very well when controlling over the Link. It's not a simple console experience but PC gamers are used to a bit of fiddling and its performance is great for the price. With a few non-Steam games imported to my library, living room Overwatch with Keyboard and mouse is now a glorious reality.

what a pain.

At the time of writing this review valve has this item for 90% off. I thought it would be a steal as I'm looking to play my PC library downstairs but do not want to pay the £600 it would cost to convert to a small form factor. I also bought the steam controller to with. On arrival setup was easy, plug and play, got it connected, it updated and bound to my PC upstairs without a problem. That's where the good ends. My Internet connection is doing about 40mbps and games are completely unplayable at 1080p. I cured most of this extreme latency issue with a mixture of power line adapters and cat7 ethernet cables, bypassing my router, problem with this is it disconnected the steam link from the Internet altogether, so I'd have to unplug everything to check for updates. The problems continue, no matter what game I try or what controller configuration I set, I can't control anything through the steam controller, characters won't even move. So I try connecting up the xbox one wireless dongle and my wireless xbox one controller, so what happens now? Well I can't switch the steam link on with this controller, I have to unplug it and back in to get it running. Then the worst of it, for as long as the xbox controller is connected, steam link has decided it doesn't want to connect to my PC anymore.. I can't believe the trouble. I would avoid this and stick either with your PC or your console.

当方、無線で使用しております。 PCが二階にあるので、一階にある大画面のテレビでゲームがしたいと思い購入しました。 Elite:Dangerous、マインクラフト、Redoutなどなどをプレイしましたが、遅延を感じることなくプレイができています。 しかし、稀にカクつくことがあります。 PCのスペックと光回線さえあれば、問題なくストリーミングができると思います。

Spedizione e imballaggio ottimi come sempre con Amazon, arrivato un giorno prima del previsto. Il prodotto si presenta in una pratica confezione con dentro tutti gli accessori che servono per il funzionamento, quindi troviamo cavo LAN, cavo HDMI, alimentatore con spine intercambiabili in base al paese di destinazione (spina italiana, tedesca, inglese) e appunto lo STEAM Link. Montato in 2 minuti, configurato, provato per un paio d'ore strimmando un gioco dal PC dello studio alla TV 42" nel salone; risultato perfetto, con cavetto LAN giocato 2 ore senza nessun lag e quant'altro, sembrava di star giocando a una consolle. Con connessione WiFi non l'ho ancora testato perchè non è nel mio interesse usarlo in quel modo visto che ho una powerline appunto vicino alla tv del salone e sfrutto la sua uscita LAN per il suddetto apparato

なんとなく興味があったので購入。 HDMIとLAN、電源をつなげばすぐに母艦PCのsteamを認識し、リモートでsteamゲームができます。 設定は簡単です。またsteamだけでなくリモートデスクトップも使えます。 有線LANで使用すればほとんど遅延を感じることなくゲームできます。 ただラグが大きな影響を及ぼすFPS等だと厳しいかもしれません。 一人プレイのゲームであればよほどこだわらない限りは快適です。（LANの環境によって差はあると思います） またXBOXcontrollerは公式で対応しており、steamコントローラーを買わなくてもほぼフル機能使えます。 注意点としてはリモートデスクトップはsteamゲームよりも遅延が大きいです。 動画の試聴には向いていないと思います。

高スペックマシンユーザー向け？ 私の環境では、ネットワークテストで問題無い環境でもガタついてゲームにならないし、マウスカーソルが出てくるゲームではカーソルは表示されなかったのでゲームになりませんでした。 と言うか、HDMI出力を持ってるPCだったら要らないねこれ。 も少し調べて買えば良かったです。
