Works great
Love this WAP. It’s fast and easy to install. I needed tech support and they did a great job helping me setup my system. Much nicer than having several routers with different names and having your devices constantly switching among them

High speeds and easy management
I bought these to replace some Zyxel AX5400 APs that were starting to have overheating issues. It was kind of a shot in the dark, as I have never used any of their higher end APs, only some consumer level stuff. These are very easy to setup using the Insight cloud and they are very fast. I chose to run the 5GHZ with 160mhz channels connected to a 2.5gbit switch. I am seeing the full throughput of my 1gbps internet connection. No problems with them at all at this point. Hopefully they stay this way.

Netgear AP (WAX625)
I have now purchased 3 different models of netgear access points, and they all seem to fail after a month or so of use. 2 of these access points were wall mounted and the last one was ceiling mounted, but all failed after about 30 days of use. At this point I am not sure about these devices and will look to another company. The setup is easy, and functionality is great but just do not last.My ceiling mounted AP was about 6 ft from the AC duct where it got a cool blast of air, but it too failed after 30 days.

Good access point
I bought two of these to cover a business office for a client. They were replacing 3 existing older wacs of other brands that were not doing the job. The only complaint is the tabs on the mounting bracket for the tracks of drop ceilings. The tracks at this office were a little too thick so I had trouble getting the bracket to grip. I had to bend the tabs to make them grip. Operationally, however, this are good access points. The first thing I heard from the client the next morning when they arrived for work is that the wifi was much faster and more stable. I bought the Netgear POE+ switch to supply the power (POE) and installation was easy.

Works… kinda.
This is a PoE+ device. I have a Cisco business class PoE+ switch with 48 ports and over 1,000 watts of available PoE+ power, yet the device states the 5ghz radio is powered off due to only having PoE power and not PoE+. This is not a problem with my switch and Netgear wants me to buy additional items (including a power cord). I don’t want to use a power cord, that’s why I purchased this item. Unhappy with purchase
