TYNOR Wrist & Forearm Splint, Grey, Right, XL, 1 Unit

I have a distal radius fracture with non surgical repair. After having a splint and then a cast I now have to use a wrist guard for a couple of weeks. This wrist guard offers good support and stability for my wrist while allowing me to use my hand. It fits well and easy to use, and with the velcro straps I am able to adjust the tightness. It seems to be well made.

Works just like I thought it would

I like this brace. I got the brace to immobilize my wrist because of a ganglion cyst. The brace fits well, looks good & seems fairly well made. It was comfortable wearing; even for 24 hours - for the first week plus. Then I began to develop an itch after wearing the brace for a day and noticed a little patch of irritation under where the aluminum stay was. So I treated the itch & left the brace off overnight. As i continued wearing the brace the itch progressively got worse as did the rash that developed on my wrist. I figured that I was allergic to something to do with the aluminum stay - possibly a finish that had been put on it. So I thoroughly washed the brace & the stay. And then I did something that I did as a teenager when I bought cheap jewelry - I coated the aluminum stay with a good coat of clear finger nail polish. When I resumed wearing the brace, my wrist still itched a bit so I put a layer of gauze on top of the rash between my skin & the brace. The rash & itch progressively got worse again to where I couldn't wear the brace at all. I really wanted to be able to keep this brace, but since I can't wear it, I need to return it.

Me gusto mucho, el problema es que pedí mano derecha (right) y mandaron izquierda (left) 😅 Me reembolsaron y la pedí de nuevo ya que me pareció que tiene buena compresión y ajuste, espero que esta vez sí llegue la mano correcta Dejando eso de lado, a México tardó en llegar 1 semana Parece una gran muñequera, bastante cómoda y suave, no irrita la piel ni tiene bordes que raspen, sobretodo parece muy cómoda en la parte del pulgar, con lo que muchas otras muñequeras tienen problemas Ajusta bastante bien, sus velcros pueden ajustarse bien y son suaves, aunque parece estar diseñada para no "cerrar" completamente (lo digo porque en la imagen promocional a la modelo no le cierra totalmente, es decir, que se junten las dos partes duras) o vienen algo reducida de talla, aunque no incomoda, pero es mejor que si eres talla M en guantes pidas una L para un mejor ajuste (aunque se agradecería que el vendedor pusiera medidas de la palma de la mano y medidas de la muñeca para saber la talla real) Esta muñequera parece que sirve para torceduras, tunel carpiano, preventiva (evitar doblar las muñecas al trabajar), muñeca safada, quiste sinovial, inflamación, etc., ya que es firme y suave, como haberte inmovilizado con vendas No creo que sirva para un hueso roto (como sustituto de un yeso) o algo más serio (le faltaría dureza y firmeza para eso), y tampoco creo que sirva para corregir postura al dormir por la compresión De todos modos, cuando me llegue la muñequera correcta ampliaré o editaré la reseña para hacerla más acertada una vez usada

The size of this product was of perfect fitting for my mother. It provided the support which my mother required during the splint in her hand. It helped her a lot for relieving pain in her hand. The grip of this product was good.

Ease of use amazing product using after orif wrist surgery. Keep in mind my hand is thin, and M size is little tight for me So always go for L

The quality of the product is excellent. It has a special plate that gives proper support to the hand and doesn’t slip at all. It’s very comfortable to use, and the material feels extremely skin-friendly. The product looks exactly the same as shown in the pictures. I especially loved the color combination – it’s really elegant and attractive. Truly a great buy!
