Thees are cheap for a reason, they broke into pieces whilst trying to use. However for a home project to update colours on a canvas, they are fine. Definitely not professional quality

I’m not sure where in the handling the pastels were damaged, but as anyone who uses soft pastels realizes, they are delicate and need to be handled with care. They are extra soft pastels after all. The colors are rich and would be a good addition to my collection. I had planned to order additional sets based on these, but now I’m on the fence. I hope this is a one off.

I am a pastel artist and I use a lot of different brands of pastels but I have to say, Sennelier are my favorite. They are super soft and buttery, perfect for the last layers of a painting.

Like another reviewer, this order arrived dry and broken leaving lots of dust when used. Because of the excellent reputation of this brand of oil pastels, I was super stoked to try them. But no. This wasn't a good experience. I dunno if this particular box was old or what the deal is. But I have far less expensive oil pastels that perform tons better. YES... the colors are spectacular. They pop. But the dust and condition of the product is enough for me to go no further with this brand.
