I love it!
It has been a long time since Bent put out new music and even though these are old unreleased songs they are new to fans. These songs sound as fresh as the day they were made. This is Bent at its best even if these songs may not have made it on to their past albums. Whatever the reasons were (time constraints, flow of album, etc.) these songs needed to be heard. There is a lot of great stuff here and you won't be disappointed. Since there is so much new music the listener should spend time with each disc and treat it as a separate album. The real treat with purchasing this double disc collection is that a download card is included for an additional 9 tracks. These tracks are also unreleased and are NOT available on any of the download services. You have to buy the CD in order to get the additional tracks. There really are a lot of gems here as well as some tracks that are a bit experimental in nature. I would highly recommend this collection for any Bent fan.

Something old....or something Classic
After waiting for some new material from these guys for ages...I get something old... and very welcome it is.The added bonus being it's a double CD! I made my purchased a few weeks ago and haven't stop playing it. A cracking album. The stand out track has to be 'Secret Lies'...how that never made it to their other albums I'll never know...same could be said for 'Did your heart break', 'We watch the stars', 'Burnoshk', 'Chime Time', 18/30 Hoilday and the brilliant 'British Summertime'.It would appear that the 'duo' are currently working on 'other projects' (check out Mr Mills album called Napoleon), so might be another wait for some new material...unless there's something else in the Vault...here's hoping on both fronts!

Brilliance from the Vaults
Yet again Bent deliver a solid catchy and brilliant set of tracks..Perfect for the fans but not only that....perfect for new comers too. I have got so many people onto Bent just on this set of songs alone.I have followed Bent since around 2001, and even as a young guy at the time, i fell in love the music, the beautiful soundscapes and sounds that these 2 create.Another group that really influence me, and make me want to work harder at what i do.We love BentI also recommend Simon Mills solo album called "Napoleon" which can be found on iTunes of Bandcamp. BlissAnd also Fair Goose IslandThank you

Top notch from the duo
I purchased this C.D. a while ago, and I havn't stopped playing it. O.k. this is material recorded a few years ago but it stands up well with all their other releases. 34 tracks and only a couple of iffy offerings(Job Finder - Doo Doo - Club Granada) but the rest of it is superb. Standout tracks for me are 'Did your heart break'//'Your secret lie'//'Translator'// and my favourite track being 'Burnoshk'. The sound quality is, like all their previously released C.D.s., terrific. The only question now is - When do we get an album of new material??.

Warped experimental beauties
This is the first release of "new" Bent material since their Best Of in 2009.I say new as these tracks are unheard/never before released tracks that never made it onto any albums or eps. Most albums like this are generally boring and for the fans only. But this is Bent we're talking about!Remastered and, where necessary, finished off, this double album showcases the Simon and Nails ability to forge soundscapes and lush effects into melodic pop songs that take you to places that very few albums can. It's a great accompaniment to their fully fledged artist albums

Must have
If you like Bent, you must have this album. I first came across Bent ten years ago and have enjoyed every minute of the band's output.

Not what i expected
This double cd is outakes , songs that were not good enough to put out on albums. Most of the music is just unlistenable . To be fair some songs are ok, but the rest of it is just not near as good as the great music Bent have put out in the past. A bunch of reject songs that should have stayed like that.

Great work
If you love Bent’s work so far, you’re in for a major treat with this collection. Most tracks are aurally nostalgic, comforting, sublimely abstract, futuristic — and gently humorous. That is, essential Bentness :)

I am beside myself with love hearing this rare vaults collection and feel honoured to ...
Quintessential Bent! So many gems here just re-affirming their unique and joyful dafttronica and sometimes emotional sound style. I am beside myself with love hearing this rare vaults collection and feel honoured to own more of their brilliance. Bravo Bent.

A FANTASTIC collection!
This is most definitely NOT just a bunch of mediocre tracks that didn't make it onto their albums. Although most of the tracks are instrumental ("Translator" being one of the great vocal tracks), there are some real gems here. I was one of the lucky few to get one of the first CDs that included a download code for the bonus tracks, which were just okay, but the main tracks on the 2-CD set are great. An absolute must-have for any die-hard BENT fan!

Another Bent Home Run
Excellent collection of music!! Out of the 2 CD's, maybe one song I would skip over, but all of the other tracks were good, some were quite good, and a few were just extraordinary, 'keepers' as always with a Bent CD(s)! We'll worth it to add to your collection!!
