We've added salmon oil to our dog's food for as long as we've had dogs. A small drizzle of oil on top of their dinner is all it needs. It's gained us plenty of compliments, and is a fraction of the price of some of the super oils on the market for exactly the same results.This particular brand offers fantastic value for money (We paid just £5.49 for a litre, which is remarkably affordable, although I notice the price has gone up since I purchased it). When I've bought litre bottles in the past, they've come in tall bottles without any easy way to get the oil out, short of tipping the bottle. Each bottle came in its own zip-lock bag, with a regular cap, and an pump dispenser which you could swap it over to for easy dispensing. It just makes things so much easier.Yes, it does smell of fish, but it's salmon oil. It's not an overpowering fishy odour, and it's a nice normal colour. No additives here, and being organic, I'm not worried about added chemicals. My dog is enjoying it, and is happy to have it on her dinner. Happy faces all round - we'll be back for more.

Got this product for my 4 ferrets, used salmon oils of various brands before but they sometimes have smelt like a chemical rather than pure oil and have dark stringy splotches in the oil that I'm unsure what it was, but this one is absolutely amazing, smells like salmon oil should, my ferrets are mad for it and it's such a bright colour with no gross stuff in it, plus the pump measuring the oil makes it so much easier to use, thank you I will definitely be buying this product in the future

I've been giving my 3 dogs salmon oil for a while. I have been getting a different brand but was unable to gwt it at the time of ordering so I got this instead. Easy to dispense. No mess but my 3 prefer the other brand as they hesitate a bit before they eat it with this one. That's why I've marked it down on taste.

We have four dogs - my 2 Siberian Huskies (11 & 12 months), as well as my MIL's Russian Toy Terrier (14yrs) and Chinese Crested (6yrs). All dogs are fed a natural, home cooked diet and I was seeking a good supplement/vitamin to support their diets. I heard about the benefits of salmon oil for quite some time, but could only find ridiculously expensive small bottles at a local pet store.I am so glad I found this product! Great size bottle that will last for quite some time, excellent price and all of the dogs absolutely love it! Yes, it's a fatty fish oil so it can smell a little strong (especially when added on top of warm food - hold at arms length unless you want to gag), but that's easy enough to ignore.The little dogs already have noticeably shinier coats and the oldest one who has joint/ligament problems in her legs is walking better and seems to no longer be in pain. She also tends to have a sensitive stomach when she consumes some foods and this really seems to have helped - no more rumbling tummy and she is much more interested in food! She usually refuses to eat when she feels unwell but, I tested this by putting a squirt in her empty bowl on a day that she had refused to eat breakfast and she lapped it up like crazy then kept bugging me for more, so it must have made her feel better!The huskies absolutely love the taste, when they hear me preparing their food they start howling and crying like little kids telling me to hurry up. I have noticed their coats also seem a little shinier, but they currently live outside in the snow so it's hard to tell when they are covered in snow all the time!As far as the smell goes, I haven't noticed it sticking around on their breath or anything, so just mix it in well with their food and it should be fine.

This is great value for money, you have to really look around on amazon, i nearly bought a smaller bottle for twice the price as this, that's why it pays to research as much as possible because the bargains are there, you might have to go through a few pages but you find them, this is wonderful for my blue staffy 1yr old, i have be been using what my vet recommended which is exactly the same as this product yet triple the price, so he already looks shiny and healthy but I just couldn't keep paying for the Yumega brand, buy this on my recommendation as your dog will thrive on it, start to give it to them as young as possible, i will always buy this brand and 1ltr is a bargain, for people who love a healthy dog 🐶, and for all the people who doubt this is organic, i can tell you it 💯 % is.

it may be different for other animals or if you use this with the food from the very beginning, but i introduced this to my cat and he didnt like the taste much.

It’s easy to use no mess dogs like it so I would recommend it and will definitely buy again

After being at the vets for annual vaccinations for my 10yr old border collie, I was told she had mild arthritis. Not bad enough for prescribed medicine but vet advised me to get fish oil to help. After some research had decided on this one. Its been 2 weeks now and I cannot believe the difference in her. She does not look stiff or sore, is not hobbling after a walk AND she is so much more bouncy. She must of been more sore than I thought. Now giving to my 8 Yr old spaniel (but she's mad and loopy anyway) but coat looks silkier and smoother. Admittedly the oil does not smell is great but will be using again.
