Q: Can I use this to write on that then disappears at sea when we say goodbye to my mum

Yes - you write on it and when it falls into water it dissolves. Used it for a Forgiveness Session on a training course so that participants could see that the whole thing was private between them and God.

Q: How can you stick this to fabric so you can stitch through it? I thought I was buying the sticky solvi and bought this by mistake!

I'm sorry I had the very same problem as yourself I tacked it on but I now use the sticky version. you could try low tack spray.

Q: How many sheets in the pack?

There are 12 sheets in the pack, although it's not very clear it is written before the sheet size at the bottom right corner of the pack.
