Steadicam Curve Stabiliser for GoPro Hero 3 - Blue

Excellent for what it does, just be realistic in your expectations
I bought my Steadicam Curve in May 2015 for £49.99, it is currently (August 2016) £19.95. I bought it for use with my GoPro Hero 3+ (without an LCD Touch BacPac). If you are using it with a GoPro without the BacPac then I recommend you get the Steadicam 818-7910 Weight Kit for Balancing GoPro without LCD Screen as well.If you read some of the other reviews you will see that Steadicam Curve is a bit like Marmite, i.e. you either love it or hate it. The reason people hate it is that it takes some time to set up and that the picture may not be always be perfectly smooth. Whilst this is true to some degree once you have taken the time to “dial in” it in and have learnt how to handle it correctly you will find that camera shake can be greatly reduced. The amount of shake you actually get will depend on how well you have set up the Steadicam Curve, how well you handle it, how steady you can hold it, and how fluid you move whilst using the Steadicam Curve. Be aware that unless you use 3 axis gimbals, or more complex stabilisers, you are likely to have some degree of shake. The Steadicam Curve is quite small for a stabiliser. It can fit in a pocket and be locked so that it can be used as a grip.I have got good shots with the Steadicam Curve, which is small and is a useful travel accessory for the GoPro as it can be used anywhere and it doesn’t need any batteries.Tip: Use the official website to learn the basics of how to set up the Steadicam Curve for your particular GoPro, however always experiment with the weights and settings as you may get better results.

Amazing
Great product for the go pro, it's the only and best choice for steady cinematic go pro shots plus it can be used as a standard grip. Would recommend to any go pro user.

No easy to master. Regretting my purchase.
Not heavy enough or stable enough for me. I found it fussy and tricky to master and took it out to a convention to film but ended up taking it off in favour of a heavy selfie tick I had that somehow provided an easier stable platform.

This product is utterly rubbish, It does work, it's looking solid, but giroscopic moveable part are made of low quality plastic, I have use my stabilizer only 3 times and it's get damage just from cameras weight. Very disappointing purchase. It's first negative review I'm writing in my life, but just wanted to warn you, don't waist your money on it.

A little cheap for the cost but great
Mostly ok. It’s great but is a little cheap on the gimbal (I may make myself a metal one on my lathe)It does take a few minutes to balance properly but once you’ve set it up it’s fantastic

Broke within one hour of filming.
The gimbal inside is cheap plastic and poorly designed. Other people have said it too. They break within a few hours. While it worked, the footage was great but awful design and build quality.

Terrible. Doesn't steady anything
Terrible. Doesn't steady anything. Unfortunately, I didn't realise this until my return date had gone. Now it's sitting in a cupboard because it has no use!

Just not for me.
Wasn't what I expected and even breathing on it made it move. Would have been fine indoors at all times I am sure :-)Well made and presented.
