Great blade
Neither as thick as some blades that cross-cut machines are sold with (and some are thick enough to be really quite heavy and rigid), nor as thin as those super-thin (and very efficient) rip-saw blades, this is an excellent and reasonably robust middle-of-the-road blade for cross-cut saws (well, that's what I use them for). I thought that tungsten carbide tips last pretty much forever (at least when used on clean softwood). I discovered my wrong assumption when I had to buy a new machine last year which came with a new blade. How wrong I was! Now I change the blade about once a year (low to medium usage), and with the reasonable price and great quality of these blades I reap a real benefit with easy and clean cutting. So sharp! I find 40 teeth about ideal. Good for fine work, especially if you take it easy on each cut, and not 'cloggy' like the rather 'busy' 60 teeth blades can be. It just depends what sort of work you are doing.

Arrived sharpish, sharp price and a sharp blade...
I was surprised by how well this cut. It may also be a reflection on how worn my old blade was. I suspect we all expect a blade to go on well beyond its service life and don't always notice it is blunt as it still cuts. This blade leaves a noce clean finish and didn't splinter the timber when cutting. I haven't hit any nails with it yet so can't comment on how well it holds up to non-ferrous metals but my hopes are high.

Lasts at least 6hrs of cutting, great for the price
In the world of disposable products, this is not bad at least 6hrs of cutting before it bights into the wood and kicks back. It's at least as good as no name products

Its DeWalt!!
Cuts clean and tidy on MDF skirtings and architrave as well as normal timber. The only thing that killed the edge was some tough laminate flooring. And by tough I mean there were tiny sparks as it was cutting so it had some very hard coating. That said it made numerous cuts issue free. Bought another, cheap at the price.
