Nicely made
This is made in China but it is nicely made and sharp. The mechanism works smoothly and it does not have the half stop like the Case model has, where the blades stop at half opened and then you have to pull them all the way open. I like this knife even though it is not made in USA.

Nicely made, great value, hard to open
I purchase two of these to give out as gifts. They both look and feel great. The blades are acceptably sharp out of the box but you may want to have a sharpener handy if you want to have an efficient knife. It's kind of difficult to deploy either blade. They are really tight. I keep my nails really short and couldn't open either of them without using a tool to assist me. Based on my experience with other knives I expect that the Bucks will loosen up over time. That said, the difficulty you may encounter opening the knife may make your ownership experience less than perfect.Note that this is a very good product for the price.

Buck classic
Far from my best buck, but am very happy to acquire this traditional pattern from my favorite brand.Burl wood scales and lack of origin country stamp makes this budget Buck import worthwhile.420J2 is very corrosion resistant, and although not shaving sharp I obtain an easy and effective edge.Went ahead and scooped the trapper, canoe and large Stockman all for under $100 shipped.. no Brainerd.Thinking it would make a great gift for any would be Buck fans of any age really, timeless classic. Forever legend

Grandpa knife
My Grandpa had a knife like this but I didn’t inherit it when he passed, so I got one for myself and one day my kids kids will see this knife and call it “Grandpa’s knife”.
