plenty loud, reliable and simple. I tend not to snooze with this alarm and its just like the wind up hammer and bell alarm Mom and Dad used to have but with batteries. The LED is a useful addition for that last minute check of the alarm without waking up the wife.

Works well and keeps accurate time. Buttons protrude (not recessed ) so easy to set. Loud enough to wake me up even when wearing earplugs. So cute and enough back light but not too bright. Totally quick with no ticking at all. Highly recommend.

My teenager can and will sleep through anything, especially when he doesn’t want to get up for school. This alarm is LOUD AF!!!! I hear it down the hall and it wakes me up too! My son has had ever alarm clock except the one that shakes the bed and I didn’t want to pay for all that but it was next on my list if this didn’t work out but thankfully it did!There are a few things I don’t like that I wish they would fix. It’s not the easiest to figure out how to program and when you do, it goes off am and pm… example… I set it for 6am… it also goes off at 6pm and scares the bejesus out of me while I’m cooking dinner. There is no way to set it for just am. It’s also not very easy to see where to set it but ya figure it out after a few tries. Also.. this is the second one I’ve had to buy (which I gladly did as it wakes the kid). My son lets this thing scream it’s head off for a while before he actually rises but that is to be expected by any alarm with him. Unfortunately, it has fallen on the floor a bunch of times due to this. It is a strong clock, but it even says on the little paper it comes with that it may break if you drop it a lot. So make sure that it is on a solid surface across the room from your teenager so they have to get up to shut it off and it doesn’t fall on the floor. This clock is old school… it shakes a lot because it is a little hammer that bangs the metal bells at the top so it will move, you must secure it if put something in front of it so it doesn’t fall on the floor.Other than that, hands down, great purchase and the price is excellent!

This clock is so cute and is so classic. My daughter wanted an old fashion clock for Christmas and this fit the bill. It lives up to the look and is a perfect size for her. She is 6 and just learning everything. The only problem is that the alarm is only 12 hours so you have to turn off the alarm on the back and turn it on before you head to bed. It's a small gripe but I feel it could have been solved with a little ingenuity.

Bought this clock last year, and it broke in about a year. It does make a loud sound, but unfortunately does not last long - and these clocks are bought for their loud alarm function.Update: Reached out to their customer service team, and they came through. Happy to wake up again to the loud sound!

This is not a silent clock. It began making a ticking noise after five weeks. Can’t return now.

Awesome little alarm clock! I love that it doesn't tick (silent movement), and I love the warm white backlight (activated with a little easy to reach button on the back of the clock.Other reviews mentioned that it takes two AA batteries instead of one as a plus. I also thought that was a great design feature to increase battery life.Apparently the alarm is very loud, but I haven't used the alarm feature yet. I just wanted a clock to be able to check the time if I woke up in the middle of the night without checking my phone (and being made more awake by the blue light of the display or any notifications or emails). It has been perfect for that.I purchased the simulated wood grain model. It's a bit light of a wood grain color for my taste. I wish it was a darker shade of brown, but this wasn't a huge deal for me. It's cute/adorable in a way, like it belongs on Mickey Mouse's nightstand. Haha.Overall a very nice, very high quality, sturdy little bedside bell-type alarm clock for a great price. Love this brand of clock and love this clock too!This was the clock of this type that I could find. Recommended!

El reloj cumple con las características descritas, es silencioso, no se escucha el tic tac que para algunos nos molesta al dormir pero al sonar la alarma, es bastante fuerte, lo cual es perfecto para quienes tenemos el sueño muy pesado, aunque si tienes un compañero de piso y paredes delgadas, probablemente también lo despiertes.
