Britain's Big Farm 1:16 Land Rover, Trailer and Skid Steer

This set provides great play value for any child. Both the Land Rover and the Skid Steer have lights and sounds and the detail is good. The problem is the 'cover' to the back of the Land Rover ,which most children would use to move the toy, comes off very easily and having to keep relacing it causes frustration. The trailer 'ramp' also has a similar problem and often becomes detatched from the trailer when lowered. Also, as with all Britain's large scale models, the bucket arms and 'rams' are quite flimsy and it's doubtful if these would last long if the toy was used with sand or similar material.It's a shame that such a good model range is always critisized for aspects of its build quality, but if it's a childs toy then it should be robust enough for the job AND should be fully tested before being marketed.If I'd paid the full price I would feel really disappointed.

Kids bought this together great value lots of fun. Little parts have broken already after a week of playing. Noises are brilliant.

Landrover seems good quality and my little man loves the lights and engine sounds however the bobcat is poor and hasn't last long.

Good product bur bobcat arms don't work properly, they keep popping out of their casing.

It was bought as a Christmas present for my 4 year old son. Needless to say he loves it although I'm unsure as to how long the trailer and Bobcat will last. The quality of the Landrover seems OK, despite the flimsy rear cover. The trailer and Bobcat are a bit of a let down, the Bobcat already having to be repaired on a number of times as it seems really easy to lift the loader arms higher than they should which causes the plastic hydraulic rams to pop out. Growing up I knew that the 1/32 Britains toys were very good quality. It's just a shame that the 1/16 is made to a budget.
