Does as it should do
Pretty straight forward lens hood as expected, to pack away it can be flipped round backwards and twist onto the leans as most canon ones do, pleased with it.

It shades your lens but expect vignetting.
It was cheaper than the Canon one so worth a go. I tried it with a few photos but found I had to crop most of them because of the heavy vignetting. I don't use it anymore. I just use a polarising lens or a variable ND lens instead.
