Brilliant educational kit
The stirling engine worked first time and was easy to make, the only care that's needed is to make sure that the parts are fitted the right way round. I used a watchmaker's screwdiver bought from the Pound Shop. The perspex barrel gives a good view of the displacer working and there are a variety of paper templates to chose from. I put the unit on top of the tea pot instead of the lid which always makes visitors give a double take!

waste of time
well packed, that's all I can say, followed all instructions to the letter, doesn't work despite assembling it three times, waste of time, and money.

Wish I had stronger hands.
Very difficult to tighten screws enough to get a good seal - not drilled well. I still haven't got it working.

Cannot get the engine to work
Despite my best efforts & following the assembly instructions to the letter I cannot get it to work. Some of the components are flimsy & a great deal of care is required when putting it together. Cannot recommend it.
