Easier and quicker than using a steam iron.
I’m hopeless at ironing, and I seem to put more creases in than I take out. I’ve only had this steam press a couple of days, but I’ve had good results with my first attempt, and I’m happy. No more crumpled T shirts!

Almost makes ironing a pleasure
Wonderful product with a variety of temperature settings for different fabrics. I fold up all things to be ironed place it in a pile on one side of the ironing press before starting.I have mine on a table with chair in front put on the TV and in no time at all it is all on the other side beautifully pressed with very little effort. It almost makes ironing a pleasure. I bought this as being a lady of a certain age I am now finding that prolonged ironing with an iron and ironing board was making my elbow ache. No pain at all after using this press. The handle is easily pulled up and down over the garments to be ironed. There is also good height when the press is open so less chance of you burning your hands on the top hot plate. It presses layers of cotton sheets in one go and I do all the clothes on it. I looked at a number on line but chose this one due to the larger size of the pressing area. Easy to use and set temperature as needed it can be used with or without the steam facility. I would recommend this press to anyone looking to make ironing easier.Very quick delivery by the seller.

Impressed
I ordered late Wednesday evening, and it arrived on the Friday, much quicker than the anticipated delivery date.I’ve had the press for a week now. I had been considering employing someone to do my ironing for me, as with the amount of washing and ironing generated by my terminally ill mother I was struggling to keep up. Having checked services available near me and prices I decided to look into a press instead as being cheaper in the long run, and if comments could be believed would save me a lot of time, which was the main concern.A week in and I’m seriously impressed. Yes there is a knack to doing the ironing using a press, especially shirts/blouses, trousers and skirts, but a week in and I’m getting the hang of it better. With bedding and other easier items, as with with the more difficult pieces of clothing it’s all about getting the item smoothed out on the press first, and this is what takes most of the time. However over all with one or two exceptions where my technique needs refining all the ironing is achieved with much less effort, to a higher standard and most importantly for me in half the time or less that it would have taken me using a conventional iron.Yes it’s an expensive outlay, but will certainly work out cheaper than paying someone else to do it for me, and means I don’t have to wait for items to be returned, and it’s saving me precious time. While I’m hoping it will last many years, if I can afford it when the time comes will certainly replace with another. At present I cannot see me using a conventional iron much if at all again.

Digital Steam and Dry Ironing Press
I am a 57 year old man who recently lost his wife, I have arthritis and back problems and a 15 year old daughter.Unfortunately the press was not working due to being dropped during delivery. Amazon were contacted and the sellers contact to me was almost instant. Their customer service was second to none, apologies accepted and a replacement was dispatched straight away and delivered asap. The press was what I had hoped for, i.e. it makes ironing for me more pain free and less of a chore. I found the press easy to use with very good results but like some other reviewers of presses I did get a few burns while learning to use the press, you have to learn to work as close to the bottom plate as possible. It is best to bring the work to you when ironing as pushing it to the back after ironing will cause wrinkles to occur on items like bed linen and for me I found using the spray bottle instead of steam made for easier use. The only point I could complain about is the top plate, it does not open far enough, if it opened to nearer 90 degrees in my opinion the minor burns would be virtually eliminated. Overall a very good product for the money and I will be recommending it and the seller to all.

Excellent product & value for money
Already have a press of my own, and purchased this for daughter in law who has mountains of family ironing and precious little time - this model is better than mine, which is a standard, around 30 year old Elna Press model given to me by my Mother, and doesn't have the steam function. They certainly appear to have come a long way, and my daughter in law is DELIGHTED with this! - like me, she only now uses a 'normal' iron for small, or fiddly things such as baby clothes (and then only some of them - she does two baby vests at a time on this), and I'm told the build quality, volume of steam and all the other functions including the heat control/range are absolutely top notch! This is a fantastic (value) item for the price, has more functions and yet cost less than my press and I'm now seriously considering buying another for myself - just trying to find a way to justify it when my ancient Elna is still going strong!!
