Loved this torch but only lasted just over a month and switch broke off inside.

I bought this for Valentine's Day for my boyfriend since he is a mechanic. He loves that there is a magnet on both ends and the one end picks up heavier objects than the other. The light is nice and bright. He was really surprised and loved the fact that the light bends! He said it makes working under the hood so much easier having a light that you can bend and stick to the car so you're hands free (rather than trying to hold a small light in your mouth, on the ground or any other means). I would definitely recommend this. The only downside that he sees is he wished the charge would last longer but considering what he uses it for, it works really well. He also likes that it's chargeable through a usb cord rather than replacing batteries.

He has used it several times since Christmas. He likes the brightness of the flashlight and the adjustable lighting. It fits in his pocket and he likes that.

Pros: two built-in magnets (one on each end of the instrument); the magnet on the tail is stronger than the magnet around the LEDs, but both of them are reasonably strong; the ability to extend the tool to 24” is very handy; the flexible end lets you bend it to better maneuver the light (and magnet) into otherwise inaccessible areas; the rubberized power button is handily located near the head of the light; the light can be used in either wide or spotlight mode by simply moving the head forward or backward; the LEDs provide sufficient light to illuminate the immediate work area; it runs on included, built-in rechargeable batteries; the tail magnet easily supports to the overall weight of the light to allow it hold itself in place when attached to a ferrous metal surface; and there’s a shirt or pants pocket clip; it appears to be very well-made and sturdy.Cons: it uses a micro-B USB charging port, rather than a type C port; the small, rubbery cover that protects the charging port is only held in place by sitting into a depression over the port, but not otherwise secured to the body of the light; when contracted it’s still 8” long, making it next to impossible to carry in a shirt pocket; the white-on-black ruler markings are only in centimeters.For me, the pros definately outweigh the cons, and I would recommend this magnetic, lighted pick up tool.
