ES-125 Clear

This product was exactly what I needed. Our family loves the “NATS” baseball team (Washington Nationals). A friend gave us a “press plate” that was the front page of the Washington Post newspaper the day after the Nats won the World Series. I am a watercolor artist and do my own matting but I knew that this metal plate should not sit against a glass frame. The plate is offset against a mat and the separator adds a perfect amount of airspace between the plate and the glass. Thank you seller. Go Nats! ⚾️

These clear spacers stick well to glass in frames to give air space needed for artwork. However, if you ever need to remove them to re-frame, I recommend using Goo Gone to remove the goo left behind after you pull the spacers off the glass. Fortunately Goo Gone works and did not damage the coating on the Museum Glass I use. Also, I have noticed the adhesive bleeding out from under the spacers and can see it from the front of my framed art. Perhaps this is because my artwork is exposed to so much heat at art shows in Florida.

Easy to use following online instructions. Creates a nice, clean look to pastels without the need for a mat. Work was accepted by a somewhat traditional gallery, so it was worth the risk.Perhaps if it came in a smaller quantity - or a sampler pack of each color - more people would be willing to try it. I bought the clear, 1/8" size. It will be a long time before I use all of it. Would like to try other colors & sizes, but again, it only comes in large quantities and is rather expensive for an experimental method.So: 5 stars for the product, 3 stars for available quantities.

I used these as spacers for pastel works I was framing. Easy to use and invisible. Just what I needed.

I am a pastel artist and this is the perfect way to frame them. No mat, which I prefer, so the painting is the whole focus.

Clear 1/8" worked really well in my brown frame. Can't tell it's there unless you get your nose up to it and look for it. Looks natural even then.
