I have bought similar mats before and wanted some more for lining the base of my oven. They are so easy to remove and clean with just a wipe with a soapy dishcloth. Nothing really sticks to then and you can place them on your oven racks in order to make them more like trays. Food can be cooked on them with little or no fat. I have even used them to line my roasting dishes by cutting a few slits at the corners and just letting them overlap ..... great for my parsnips and spuds. There is no danger of them melting or imparting any unpleasant taste or smells. Such a great invention.... I wonder why they don't make oven walls out of this material.
