Kilner Vintage 8L Drinks Dispenser, Clear/Transparent, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

This Kilner jar is perfect for continuous brewing of Kombucha. It holds a massive 8l which is great for providing plenty of regular Kombucha supply. The plastic tap is essential as metal reacts with Kombucha and mustn't go near it. It is also very hygienic and doesn't corrode. The tap works smoothly and easily and doesn't drip. For the purpose of brewing, I removed the clip and lid to make way for the cotton cover and elastic tie. I couldn't seal the cloth properly over the lid clip and I don't want fruit flies finding a way in. It is very easy to remove the lid and store it . It has taken a few weeks to build up to brewing 8 litres at a time and now I have, I am delighted. I am glad I chose this large size jar as I like to drink Kombucha daily and anything smaller wouldn't suffice. I also love the vintage ribbed design. The opening at the top is large enough to easily put an arm through to clean properly, even with the lid attached. The glass doesn't seem very thick and I would have liked it to be a little less fragile-feeling. However, it is not too heavy and moves easily on the worktop when full for cleaning. I have it placed close to the edge of the surface for easy drawing off. The tap pokes over the edge and bottles or glasses are easily filled without the jar overhanging the edge. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend this marvellous product.

Really like the style and bought it to dispense distilled water.Easy to use, except it took me a few minutes to work out that you have to open the lid, to dispense the drink, which was when I found the small silicone pack.Would have preferred the tap was metal, rather than plastic, for durability.

The water dispenser has been delivered on 21 Aug and filled in with water the following day. Since then it was washed and refilled just once. Today on 28 Aug whilst attempting towash the container, all of a sudden its bottom broke into 2 pieces and 8 litres of water got burst flooding the entire kitchen. I believe it happened due to the poor glass quality of the manufacture. I'm very upset. This water dispenser had barely served me a week time. I claim to have this item replaced as soon as possible. It's absolutely not worth the money £25 paid for it!!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬

Nice big tanker for our distilled water. Didn't receive the exact model as in the photo, but still very pleased with it.Note to people buying it, it only dispenses water when the lid is slightly off, the tap won't work when the lid is shut.

I have bought similar things in the past and either they’ve turned up smashed or the seal on the tap isn’t watertight.This arrived in perfect condition and the seals are watertight, overall very happy.

I used this only for a week and when cleaning it at the end of the week the metal that holds the lid came a bit loose so the lid got loose and fell on the floor. Can you send me a lid replacement?Many thanks

Very good, strong durable product and also very nice looking. I replaced the tap to a strong stainless steel one because I find the given plastic weak. I believe for this high quality product a better tap is a must. But its maybe my preferences :)

Love it got the Vintage style and it’s looks great I read some reviews that the tap doesn’t work but it works perfectly for me. Very high quality drinks dispenser will be using it a lot!

The Kilner glass drink dispenser is great! It is nice thick glass with a very good stopper. Also the spigot is very well fastened to the jar. I would buy other products for this company. It was packaged well and arrived quickly. I am brewing Kombucha in the jar now and it looks great on the counter. I did have to make a stand for it as the spigot is very low to the bottom.

Me gusto porque el material es pesado, llego rápido y de muy buena calidad.

La usamos para beber agua en nuestro despacho, llenando los vasos/botellas de cada uno. Más sostenible que usar las botellas de 1,5L y además se conserva mejor el agua.Directamente compramos el dispensador metálico, por lo que el que trae de plástico no lo hemos usado. Hay otros modelos de KILNER más baratos, pero este era el más recio.
